Apparently, Chisame talking about stabbing Negima is a reference to a doujin called Negimaru where she goes crazy. She stabs Negi and dresses up like Asuna and post nude photos of herself to ruin Asuna’s popularity. Reading it now.

Im actually marathoning Shana right now. Cept I have a method of watching it that should help me be able to get the most out of it.
Great characterization, for one. This season did well in exploring how Natsume was like before he went on to his current family and friends (though it was being referenced to in earlier seasons, this season focuses on it, IMO) and how he has changed for the better.
Best of all, there’s a 4th season in 3 months time, too.

Secret method to marathoning Shana is just watch everyone per normal then skip the first half dozen or so episodes of the 2nd season where they try to push that bullshit love triangle and melodrama junk onto you lol.
Make sure to watch the little specials though. Shana-tan is hilarious as hell haha

I’m liking some aspects of Blood-C but it took way too long to reach the revelation that happened in the latest episode. The show could have been much better if they got to this point quicker instead of having 11 episodes of the same formula - school life, action, hinting at something.

I really enjoyed the school massacre episdodes because there was a good deal of suspense given the circumstances and how the show was projecting that no character was safe. It’s really disappointing that the big revelation was just a snuff version of the Truman Show but I’m hoping Blood-C is prologue to something bigger and it transitions to a new storyline after this one. If this turns out to be a prequel to Blood/Blood+ or a self contained story then I’m going to be annoyed.
New season of anime is starting to trickle in but I haven’t really seen anything good at the moment. I downloaded a bunch of PV’s and commercials for the new season and so far Last Exile looks incredibly promising. This is Gonzo’s return after how many years of inactivity and I think the company is on it’s death bed so Last Exile is probably their last ditch attempt at making a come back. I really hope it does well since Last Exile was quite good despite several issues it had.

Hunter x Hunter was good when it started but I lost interest at the Greed Island arc followed by the mangaka’s frequent breaks and the art quality decreasing dramatically.
