Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney, admitted in court today that “in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office” he acted to keep information that would have been harmful to the candidate and the campaign from becoming public during the 2016 election cycle.
Cohen’s lawyer points out that Cohen threw Trump under the bus, backs up, and runs over Trump again:
Today [Michael Cohen] stood up and testified under oath that Donald Trump directed him to commit a crime by making payments to two women for the principal purpose of influencing an election. If those payments were a crime for Michael Cohen, then why wouldn’t they be a crime for Donald Trump?

This should be one of the most interesting midterm elections ever. Remember that the Democrats are in a terrible position as regards who is up for reelection and so would have to claw out a surprising victory to take back control of Congress. If the Republicans stay in complete control, I’m curious if anybody does anything meaningful.

So we have WikiLeaks revealing the daily meals that the left wing had, and yet not a peep upon the right wing, and furthermore right wing media was buying and suppressing scandals on the right wing side. And you have reactive WikiLeaks leaks after any problems / scandals arising during the Trump campaign. And the President attacking the people that weren’t trying to mindfuck you. And the President trying to lock up his enemies for non crimes, while issuing pardons for any rich old white guy that sucks up to him.

One life lost is too many. Her statement definitely wasn’t the right move and she should be called on that. However don’t act like any of these media outlets focus on talking points that further a certain agenda.
It’s funny how that article references outrage if the shoe was on the other foot oh so casually. It is a fair assessment that if these type of shenanigans were under the previous administration, it’d be 24hr coverage. They literally questioned whether or not a fist bump was a terrorist salute on air.
Trump supporters are now saying that Cohen/Manfort are distractions from the real problems the president has to deal with like NFL players kneeling during the national anthem and major broadcast stations refusing to air the national anthem
