It doesn’t matter how you get to your vote, just matters what the net result is relative to the actual system. Unfortunately, very unfortunately, third party votes are just generally noise in effect. Trying to get critical mass for third parties is a pretty long studied problem that you can already look into some pretty excellent and learned commentary on. The system as it stands is designed not to really let that happen. Revamping the system to reestablish some equality to the system and further multiple parties should be a daunting challenge. If the Republican party implodes, and I don’t think that will happen, I think that’s your best chance at reestablishing some new centrist party and some further left party.

This Brennon situation is one that is forcing me to side with no one. Brennon is a bad man and should been prosecuted for his actions. He does deserve to lose Clearance but not the way the elected leader wants. I have on many occasions given Trump his but its not my fault he has done NOTHING but lie, deceit and makes it clear its him and his voters vs everyone else. Would it be fair to say the President has segregated his voters and everyone else?

Also you would think after 2 years of all this “fake news” talk there would be a right-wing equivalency of Media Matters and Right-Wing Watch to validate his claims. Can you admit Fox is real fake news minus Shepard Smith? given i have endless proof of lies and misleads on a daily basis.

The problem isn’t stripping his security clearance, it’s abusing the system to punish political enemies. That breaks the system.

Fox claims to be entertainment, not news/facts, if I recall correctly. Watching it for political education or insight would be saddening.

I’m confused. How is taking away clearance from Brennan punishing a political opponent.

Clearance is granted, not for the sake of the guy getting clearance but for the sake of the government. The govt gives you clearance because it wants you to look at classified stuff and provide your valuable judgment.

Clearance is not given to you so you can profit from it (I.e. Play pundit on TV with the understanding that your clearance adds value to whatever you say).

So either Brennan is profiting from his clearance (which is an abuse of his clearance and rightfully should lead to it being revoked), or Brennan is not profiting from his clearance, in which case he isn’t being punished, and if anyone loses out, it’s the US govt which can no longer benefit from his insight (except not really because the govt can always clear him again if it needs).

I wouldn’t say that. Segregation began with Obama. It was pushed by the MSM against Trump and you sheep fell for it. Ignore the stories where black leaders say Trump has done more for the black community than Obama did. Ignore the leaders in Peurto Rico that say Trump did his job and they’re happy with it. MSM is continuing to strive to segregate people. Youtube, facebook and twitter have all had incidences of censoring, demonetizing or banning republican/conservative voices.
