I suspect Trump cares more about the doubled support he is getting from black voters than the five neo-Nazis who actually turned up for UTR2. That’s just good politics.
Rasmussen has a massive Republican bias and has been doing this schtick as far back as calling Mitt Romney to win “handily” over Obama in 2012. They are a massive outlier compared to most other polls out there:
National Tracking Poll, July 26-30 (10%)
Gallup, July (13%)
Reuters, July (12.8%)
I would trust that many polls tell a greater story than one very biased source
You guys/gals missing my point…

he’s not the only one. holocaust deniers, nazis and white supremacists all over the country are running for congress as republicans since the gop has been taken over by trumpset.
corey stewart is running for the us senate in virgina replete with a trump endorsement.
paul nehlen is running for a us house seat in wisconsin.
steve king (incumbent) is running for his eighth term for a us house seat in iowa.
joe arpaio the convicted criminal who was pardoned by trump is running for the us senate in arizona. arpaio claimed he has proof obama wasn’t born in this country.
holocaust denier john fitzgerald is running for a us house seat in california.
seth grossman is running for a us house seat new jersey
russell walker is running for the state house seat in north carolina.
neo-nazi arthur jones is running for a us house seat in illinois.
ted! ted! it’s too late! the horse not only left the barn. the barn door closed, poured gasoline over itself, lit a match and burned the entire building to the ground.
in addition, three other candidates including roy moore (who trump endorsed) and nathan larson, an admitted pedophile lost their respective races. lol…eleven candidates, gop? one is chance, twice is coincidence, but eleven times means you’ve gone way beyond full retard. in the past, the gop would at least attempt to murder these fringe candidates with a pillow in their cribs. now, they’re so washed as a party. they just wave the white flag in surrender to cult45 half the time.
they’ve been that way since day one.
and you never noticed the pattern nor did it ever occur to you to ask why trump consistently cites their polls. be a duck and don’t know it, breh.
speaking of biased and bizzare. did anyone hear about this ill-informed nonsense from fox news about denmark?
these clowns from fox (not that it matters to fox or their viewers) don’t know that denmark isn’t really a socialist country. anyway, the minister for finance of denmark and the ambassador of denmark to the US clapped back. lol…she started copping pleas like tina turner.
My understanding of how biases work is that they tend to put a generally consistent slant one way or another.
Even if I agreed with you that Rasmussen skews its data to consistently favor Trump, it doesn’t explain why, in that slanted universe, black support for Trump has risen.
Maybe you believe that Rasmussen has deliberately generated a trend to feed a certain narrative, but that’s a serious allegation that should be substantiated with some hard evidence.
lol…your question was answered in one the articles i posted which you didn’t read. in any case, trump often makes a claims on twitter and people take it as fact and it turms out to be misleading or not really true at all. after all, he’s been exposed thousands of times. but hey, you can take him at face value if you want. in fact, i encourage it.
On the Alex Jones front:
Twitter seems extremely interested in giving him as much leeway as possible, so he’ll presumably be back in six more days… but that’s why he got kicked off the private Twitter platform yesterday.
I’ll bite. About 200 people were surveyed for that particular stat. I’d have been laughed out of my stats classes.
More generally, Silver covered this a couple years ago:
I don’t think you have much lower to go on the Trump voters, though: most stats/trends should only head upwards for Trump. I think you’ve proven that that ~35% bloc will vote for him no matter what. It’s really only the Undecideds that matter here.
who called it again?
… called what? Crazy guy dying in a gas station parking lot after stalking a girl?
I don’t know what I’m supposed to learn about America from that. I figured we already knew there were crazy people, and that criminals begging at a gas station for money aren’t really a great look.
When the twitter bot posted that article by Nate Silver, I didn’t bother to respond, because I don’t expect bots to be able to parse through an argument to rebut a point. But I really expected better of you.
I specifically argued that proving a bias in Rasmussen polls is besides the point (and just basically a bad ad hominem) because it doesn’t address why an upward trend occurred within that biased universe. Or is the argument really that Rasmussen is becoming MORE biased over time? Because that’s a whole different argument that demands different substantiation from what you’ve showed so far.
Separately, arguing that the sample size is too small is a valid point, but doesn’t necessarily disprove anything, since a sample size of 200 is still large enough to give statistically significant results.
In other news, the NAACP conducted their own poll… And found black approval for Trump to be drum roll 21%.
Already 21% is a very high number, and since we’re all talking about bias, I could point out that the NAACP’s bias would probably have pushed it towards the low side.
But that’s still besides the point. The real point is the trend. The fiction that only racists will support Trump is nice to believe if it conforms to your world view that Trump is a horrible racist who feeds on the worst aspects of American society. It’s also not true. Trump’s supporters come from all walks of life who vote him because his policies have improved their lot in life.
Margin of error would be about 10% or so, which disagrees strongly with that last bit. Speculating further off of that poll in isolation seems … irrational. But hey… SRK!
The real point is the trend. The fiction that only racists will support Trump is nice to believe if it conforms to your world view that Trump is a horrible racist who feeds on the worst aspects of American society. It’s also not true.
I don’t know if he’s a horrible racist, but he certainly strongly comes off as a racist to me. The “trend” doesn’t disprove anything. Bread and circuses: we can vote for things that are contrary to our own interests.
Trump’s supporters come from all walks of life who vote him because his policies have improved their lot in life.
I’d agree lightly with the first part - variance happens - but the conclusion strongly doesn’t follow. Think about ACA vs Obamacare.
The white racist tropes are how trump stayed relevant on tv
Seriously the media plastered him all over tv
Alex Jones thrives via fear mongering and he is losing money by not being on huge platforms
Seriously “Who is America?” is one of the best Punked type shows ever because these are real idiots Sasha gets to do crazy shit.
These 2 were great and id go find and watch all 5 episodes if you haven’t already. Its ok Trump funs he makes fun of the other side too…
So Lara Trump is now on tape apparently trying to commit a felony. That’s exciting. Just the best people. XD
The e-mail server isn’t illegal. The illegal part is that she had government e-mails being sent to her private e-mail server, instead of her government-based e-mail.
This will always be true — especially e-mails that belong to a Communist / Marxist / Socialist traitor like Hit-llary / KILLary / $hillary Clinton.
Hillary’s e-mails will ALWAYS be relevant — no matter how much time passes — unless Americans just plain don’t give a fuck about traitors anymore.
