Was probably only a matter of time before some dumb ass thought it was a good idea to make 3D printed guns. Goes to show you how quickly technology is moving and how behind the law is when it comes to keeping up. I’d imagine the government will make a law in regards to 3D printed guns, but by then it may already be too late. IMO 3D printed guns should be outright illegal to own, print, and download.

The ‘middle-liberals’ wants politicians like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi who talk down to their own party, instead of blasting the group spitting in their face.
Getting people to turn out and proving your worth in the face of skepticism, from parts of the population that get pushed aside after primaries (and this isn’t just Blacks). Running on ‘At least I’m not Trump’ is a guaranteed win for Trump…again.
Democratic socialism now seems to be in the same place that the Tea Party was 6-8 years ago. Think it would take years of fighting and resisting mainstream democrats attempts at co-option before it can truly take over the Democrat Party (and just like how Trumpism took over the Tea Party, Democratic socialists should be aware that the right powerful figurehead could come swooping in and grab control of the base they fought so hard to build).
But maybe I’m wrong, and the superior moral character of Democrats will allow the old guard to ride gracefully into the sunset while the new, fired up Socialists rejuvenate the party.

While there is such a thing as the “Socialist Left”, it’s a false dichotomy to say that having strongly socialist views on some issues precludes you from having strongly individualist views on other issues.
It’s a tactic the politerati use to diminish opponents by pigeonholing them into a category that’s commonly dismissed.

apparently, the evidence is piling up that markets are growing more noncompetitive and employers are able to hold down wages because it’s hard for workers to find new jobs at higher pay. other methods like non compete clauses and other factors like labor’s bargaining power fell as unions weakened, etc help keep wages low. in short, labor lost, capital won. but hey, it’s not like corporate america lied about their intentions about what they would do with that tax cut.

Problem is, Schumer and Pelosi are Clinton Democrats, moreso than actual liberals. There are very few actual liberals left, Sanders being one of the only mainstream ones. Go to a European country and most of our so-called “left wing” politicians would probably be considered right wing.
It’s a shame that good things like universal health Care and education subsidies get lunoed in with dumb bullshit like abolishing ICE when it comes to some of these candidates.
