Personal favorites were Hugh Hewitt actually bash Trump legit and sadly Micheal Medved resorted to defering to Obama(caller called him out and he essentially tried to deny that what he was doing).

I was taught in middle school that the US is a Democratic Republic, which is a form of Representative Democracy. Sure, we didnât start out that way when the Constitution was written, but with the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, Fifteenth, Seventeenth, and Nineteenth Amendments, our government is both democratic and republic.

It works, though. Hillary was being smeared for decades, and goddamn that Kool-Aid worked wonders. People look at whatâs happening with Trump and are like âwell Hillary wasnât excitingâ ⌠which was exactly the fucking playbook you nitwit. Promote the Cult of Trump, destroy the reputation of any challenger, and if any specific challenger is picked make sure that you strongly push how much better the 2nd place finisher was. Or both sides are the same despite you know reality and positions taken by the parties. Or letâs go third party because voting at a national level for a party that doesnât have its shit together on the local level will solve something.
I thought Hillary would have been a great President. Still do. People out there who did not understand this probably pay limited attention to the world and/or have some fantastically twisted ânewsâ sources.
It seems evident at this point that a certain portion of the electorate is intellectually unreachable, that their vote is locked in no matter what happens, no matter what the issues at hand or positions are. The best way to combat that is to get everybody voting. It is entirely possible that there are more stupid people in the world than there are not stupid people, but Iâm hoping thatâs not the case.
No matters what happens, the current administration is doing horrible damage to our economy and the environment that are going to fuck us for decades to come. Voting maybe helps staunch the bleeding and returns us to a rule of law versus the crony capitalism in place.

I can accept that there are more stupid people in the world than there are smart ones.
A lifetime of human interactions has demonstrated the plausibility of such being the case.
But a lot of dim people are trainable, and can be led to the correct answer.
Itâs the intractable aspect of most Murikansâ nature that is the rub.

Iâm curious as to why we would expect any truth as regards what he discussed with Putin. Thereâs a flagrant disregard for facts on his part that does not engender my trust at this point.
The constant back pedaling definitely isnât bringing people over to his side. Youâd think that a guy who is basically a master brandsman would know how to stay on message. âNO COLUSIONâ seems to be the only thing in his purview at the moment.
Trump is someone whoâs had a lot of people doing the heavy lifting for him throughout his entire life. Itâs not that HE HIMSELF is a master brandsman, itâs that heâs got good marketing people in his employ. His presidency is the equivalent of just hitting buttons and hoping for the best.
