You already have people like truendymion calling the Cohen bit, “propaganda”. The Trump base and those that align close to it (Libertarians for example) are just too dumb to reason with.
It’s ironic that our president is always baby raging about fake news and the media, but believes anything that comes out of Putin’s mouth. It’s really quite something else, and I’m confused why people refuse to acknowledge this.

Most people never question.
The very suggestion of the concept of questioning what they have been told since they were kids, vexes them to no end, as it makes them very uncomfortable.

I have a white friend i work with everyday whos whole family is Republican and he said his parents were starting to dislike Trump… Seriously Ive said it before if you lose Walsh your doing it wrong. The real “conservatives” who just love NRA money and tax breaks are realizing Trump may not just be wroth it after all.

cult membership has its privileges. they’re probably scouring youtube looking for a random video to soothe their minds. anyway, i had trump in the bottom 5 of worst presidents, but i think he moves down to bottom 3 on the strength of this performance alone. after all, you have a sitting president who poured gasoline, lit a match and set fire to the decades of geopolitical capital the US has built up in europe and asia. a president who not only refused every opportunity to display character and leadership and stand up for the country he was elected to represent and protect. instead, he put himself before country and excoriated his own intelligence agencies while spouting, unhinged conspiracy theories and polishing the knob of putin to his delight. it was a command performance.

And he expects us to believe that? Well, I guess his supporters will, and that’s a huge part of the problem here.
