Some things about this country I really fucking hate, and the double standard that comes with alcohol is a big one.
It’s cause alcohol makes you calm and chill, whereas weed makes you irate and violent.
This on so many levels. I work in traffic safety studies and the amount of people killed annually due to alcohol related deaths is ridiculous.

Interesting article about the demands Amazon made for the sites of its new headquarters. My city of Nashville is getting an operations hub that will include 5000 jobs at an average salary of $150k, but like the other locations, a lot of tax incentives that could have been much better spent went towards trying to get them to come here and it’s shameful that the federal government allows these sorts of practices at all. Seems welfare is okay as long as the money goes to corporations and not individuals…
