What state was it that, you could use a GUN LICENSE ID, but they did not take any form of Student/College ID?

I can honestly say though I am not well vsed on politics in general as I would assume others here are so my opinion doesn’t hold much water. I kinda generally just feel like no matter what someone is getting screwed. I know im not making anymore money than I use to and my insurance keeps going up, hell even before trump its gotten to the point I honestly literally can not even afford all my meds the past couple years. So lots of stuff I don’t even take anymore. But I guess thats just on the medical aspect of politics if you will. I mean I dunno how many sick people are in this thread, but did you know just my fucking eye drops, to keep my eyes from shitting on me are like a few hundred bucks a month? Insurance stopped covering it a couple years ago so its just like welp, if my eyes start to go, they start to go lol ha

Ask your healthcare provider(s) if they have someone who could speak with you about financial or medical assistance.
Also, ask your provider to appeal your insurance company’s decision on the eye drops. Doesn’t always work, but lots of insurance company decisions get reversed when a doctor talks to them directly about why you need something.
ya I already get extra help from the government for some stuff and some meds my doctors can approve to get the insurance to at least cover them some of it. But other stuff, im just screwed .
Hell ill tell you something funny that happened last year, so I actually spent so much money on meds etc last year theres that obvious like donut hole or whatever they call it. Like you spend so much money a year then you get to this point where then your meds cost less. Well by the end of the year I spend so much money that I reached the point where then I leave that area, and go back to paying more money from my meds? Hell I didnt even know that existed lol

heres another weird medical system story for you guys… I will say actually like heres something crazy I actually get prescription strength fish oil as one of my meds… I think it generally costs me something like $50 bucks with insurance(and something like $15 once I reach the donut hole or whatever), do you know how much that shit costs if I didnt have insurance? Last year it was almost $1000 bucks. No joke. This year with out insurance its like $600. But with prescription last year it was only costing me like $10. Go figure that one out.

pretty much, the entire premise of of voter id laws is based on the idea that voter fraud is commonplace and occurring on a large scale. it’s tin-foiled nonsense. voter fraud is extremely rare and certainly isn’t even remotely close to occurring on a massive scale. so, if voter fraud is rare and the “american ideal” is to have every citizen exercise their right to vote. why would one create new roadblocks to make voting more difficult? obviously, voter id laws are a feature not a bug.

no, they had proper id according to the courts. it was the gop state legislature that was on some bullshit. NC is a “No ID requirement” state to vote. in fact, 34% of US states are “No ID requirement” states.

outside of a need to board an airplane, drive a car, entering a secure building or crossing an international border. in general, there is no federal law requiring citizens to carry “proper ID” like a photo ID. “proper ID” to vote is mostly defined by the states and obviously state laws on this issue vary.
side note: you can still drink under the age of 21 in certain states, but you can’t buy alcohol.
