Obama was literally interviewed and fucking admitted to it.
“Probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya,” Obama said in an interview with Fox News ‘
Obama LITERALLY FUCKING SAID IT. Mattis probably heard him wanted to do something reckless and went “We aren’t doing that again.”
Fucking christ. Apparently not even the Obama’s own words in an interview, while still president, are worth quoting.
I mean I can link you to the New York Times article again if it helps. The actions of Obama that lead to the death of Gaddafi by the NTC are definitely equivalent to those of Trump calling for al-Assad’s assassination because again everything is always the same. The lack of forethought, strategy, and plan on the part of Obama is clearly laid out in the New York Times article which simply states “lol what plan” and has a picture of a soothing seascape instead of a bunch of words which are rather a bother to read.
Fucking christ. Apparently not even the Obama’s own words in an interview, while still president, are worth quoting.
Apparently I can link you to information that explains in very extensive detail why you’re misusing the quote and misattributing equivalency, and you can yet get salty that I would have a different interpretation.
That article is excellent reporting. You’re missing out.
I watched the interview. He literally admitted that they cucked it up.
Apparently all that planning was for nought because he ended it with a shrug and called it the worst mistake of his presidency. Because the NY Times reporting is so good that it can erase the man who made the decision admitting it was bad because they didn’t really think things through.
But its okay because the NYT said its not so bad. Even though Obama called it the worst mistake of his presidency. It was a well thought out monumental fuck up that destabilized an entire region.
I don’t know who to fucking believe: the NYT or the President.
/me links you to a lengthy discussion of the forethought strategy plan
your response:
He literally admitted that they cucked it up.
You are not responding to what I said. In the interview discussing the failure of his forethought strategy and plan, he says they didn’t follow through strongly enough. Nowhere did he say there was no forethought strategy or plan. Nobody else has either.
That’s a really interesting interview and I’m glad you watched it, but to take away from it that they weren’t thinking about things… that’s baffling. The NYT article easily fills in that blind spot.
I don’t know who to fucking believe: the NYT or the President.
Those two concepts are only incompatible if you haven’t read the article nor watched the interview. If you watch them together they form part of an elegant and ugly whole, which put the lie to the comment above that I’ve repeatedly quoted.
Bro there is no fucking way you are telling me George W Bush was not a retard. I refuse to believe he had an IQ higher than 80, simply unreal. I still remember his press conferences. Was like asking a 6 year old about statistical mechanics
