American Football 2019 Thread:

It’s jedi mind tricks. Russia also did it and invited black people to the country even though they are socially not accepted.

That seems to hold true, the more I reread it, put in context with his character, basically seems like Hitler just trynna stir up shit

And on that note, why would anybody quote Hitler during a Civil Rights movement? Not a good idea to ever quote him, but it’s especially bad to do it now. How one can be that dense is beyond ne

It’s a fake quotation that’s why.

Read the second paragraph.

I remember years ago while working at the Smithsonian, one of my coworkers who was a much older black man told me about it. He told me he read it in a book at the Library Of Congress.

Fake or real quoting Hitler does not work out in most sociopolitical conversations.

Good to know Malcolm. Good to know that the call for every race to support BLM was just bullshit, because Black People’s Problems are only their problem and every other community’s problem is their own problem. It’s good to know that Anti-Semitism doesn’t “matter”, and that only BLM “matters”. Let’s push all that energy from being upset at this issue, towards being more upset at your preferred issue.

Three days. Took him three days to come up with that statement compared to the 15 minutes he needed for Brees.

This is all the last bit of convincing I needed that the entire league is filled to the brim with anti-Semetics. They aren’t silent because they’re afraid of rocking the boat or taking away eyeballs from their own issues, they’re silent because they share the viewpoint. It’s legitimately pathetic, and I think the majority of the NBA also shares these views.

So I’m hearing that Redtails is a frontrunner for the Redskins. As a black man, I like it. Also as a black man, why having native american imagery as a logo and mascot racist but having black people as a mascot and logo not?

Because one is reducing a group of people to skin color and the other is honoring a group of people for something positive they did.

Don’t ask me. I mean one of the most beloved College’s in the country has an Irish Dude dressed as leprechaun while assuming a fighting stance as a logo.

It probably won’t be a straight up black person as the logo, it could be a plane or the outline of a pilot. While you could put a black man’s face as the logo… As a black person I would be they wouldn’t and feel them stupid if they did.

Someone came up with a face logo and I think it was suppose to be a black man but ended up looking like the logo now but with a pilot’s helmet from that period on. LOL!!!

Edit : Found it…

Fuck it, throw it on the side of the helmet. If the Irish can deal with a caricature, I don’t see why I can’t be cool with a Tuskegee Air Man mascot.

A Tuskegee airman mascot would be dope with approval from that organization

But I’d go with Red Wolves just to av potential drama

Why do you keep insisting that The Fighting Irish as a mascot was made to make fun of the Irish? All stories about it are the exact opposite of it.

What if it was the Drunken Irish? :eyes:

Please point to where I said that? I said it’s a caricature because it is.

Yeah…the silly ass guy with the fists up came way after the school had its name. Not like they were named after something that had shaky standing from the start.
