Jamele Hill was one of the critics of the NFLās handling of the Kaepernick situation and sheās no longer working for ESPN.
Then again Stephen a. Smith has always been about ādefending the shieldā during Deflategate so him siding with the NFL isnāt a surprise to me.

The thing I donāt get is why people think this mattersā¦ None of the top 10 āredā states even have a NFL team. This isnāt about a city/state thing either way. He can be a Cowboy or Seahawk and be on either side of the spectrum and if the elected leader of 33% of America decides to make it his new distraction from his shitty situation it will be just that for whatever team it is.
It matters because it means that fanbase of the team is unlikely to care. At the end of the day, the NFL is business. You donāt want to piss off your fanbase. Or youāll up like my team and the Chargers, your home games will be away games.
