Post one up of Ibuki’s ass… I’m on a WacBook, so I can’t boot that shit up. Worse, I’m on my work WacBook so I can’t even install Windows if I wanted to.
Also to add to Alpha 2’s presentation - Gen’s stage and that grassy field stage… The two best stages in fighting game history.
I used to pick Gen’s back alley just to step in the puddles… Living like I was 5 years old all over again. Shit was amazing.
Nice troll thread. Hope to god no one seriously likes NG or 2I. Those games remind me of SNES fighters. The music is on par and the slow gameplay and feel is just like SNES fighters like TMNT. If it weren’t for the 60 FPS sprite work those games probably could’ve been ported to SNES
man i feel bad to betray one of my most beloved sandwiches, but i havent had a good subway meatball in at least a year. sandwich artist standards are sinking imo
I hated how some characters lost stages in 3S in favor of less impressive versions of other character’s stages. Ken’s 2I stage had his boat. 3S had Alex stage with different lighting and some slight different details. The stages didn’t feel alive in 3S.
The NG/2I stages were for the most part very OTT. Almost like SF4 stages. I’ll take 3S’s toned down urban approach over the Saturday morning anime look any day.
Seriously, that’s the only thing missing from 3S. Sean needs that god tier Shoryuken. Instant, hits twice, causes hard knockdown, mix-up afterward with Basketball.
3S has very simple font for character’s names on VS and Select screens, but I think it suits the game’s theme. Music is better in 3S and stages are awesome in both games. Bear on Ryu’s NG stage is badass.
I read few times that when NG came out it became boring very fast, and that must be true. Game’s system is too simple, but it does have potential for combo video. 2nd Impact introduced much better system.
Ya know MvC may not have as many characters, it may not be as graphically
stylish, IT MAY NOT EVEN HAVE AKUMA, but MvC still has that classic gaming feel
to it that MvC2 will never have. It has that nice comic book look to it, sort’ve
even reminds me of an older fighting game (XvSF). I don’t know, I might be
crazy, what do u guys think here at Shoryuken.com, I’m new by the way.
