the girl in the bathtub is sakura. Her name is there in japanese (at least in one of the scenes)
Where the hell are you coming up with this stuff basis?
In the start of the trailer, that’s not guile its a dude with a straw hat bouncing around.
The only things that can be deduced from the trailer are:
an extended bath sequence
a fight between ryu and akuma
some generic city street shots and subways
I can’t see anything remotely resembling a heart rip other than akuma’s hand pulsating a minute in, but even then its too dark to see anything anyway.
Im gonna buy this movie the day it comes out

well, im impress. Cant wait for the movie to come out. Though SFAGeneration art looks very similiar to the anime Blood: the last vampire and Samurai Champloo.

No word on if that guy with black hair in the screenshots is Ken or a young Gouken.

I too was there, and yes it was awful. Everyone started verbally trashing the movie within the first 5 minutes, Mystery Science Theater 3000 style.
If I had to summarize this movie in one word, I would use “clusterfuck”. It was very difficult to tell what was going on, there were tons of random and unnecessary flashbacks, DOZENS of sexual innuendos, and the “hyped” fight between Ryu and Gouki had about as much fighting as a single episode of Dragon Ball Z, and just about every cliche that came with that show as well.
Basically, if you’re able to get a few friends over (preferrably drunk friends), you might have some fun thrashing the movie, but otherwise you would just be wasting your time. My friend put it very well; “This movie will become the Atari 2600 ET of DVD movies”.
With all that said though, the heckling made the movie about a thousand times more fun that it would have been just watching at home alone. Definitely a good EVO moment 
That movie was the funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time. Afterward, the announcer was all, like, “Evolution is over. Please get out and take a piece of garbage with you.”
And then someone yelled, “Give me the movie!”
About what I expected, a real cluster fuck because Manga made some piss poor choices in how they do things.
I imagine it will still get released but I’m not buying it for certain now.

man, this shit was awful. more bath scenes might have made it a bit more interesting. it was shown in english and the dub was godawful like everyone predicted.
There was more laughter/clapping than anything, due to it being so awful it was comical.

i second the craptitude of the movie
not because of the poor voice acting (but it did make it crappier), but because of the crappy way everything was put together
its basically a dbz episode fight-wise :tdown:
and plotwise, it was totally horrible, the whole point of the movie is that ryu must fight/kill akuma (vengence? that doens’t sound like ryu to me), but everything leading up to it didn’t really tie together very well, if at all.
btw, only sf characters in the movie: ryu, ken, sakura, akuma, gouken, gotetsu (akuma and gouken’s master).
also: if they had it with subs instead of dubs, would it have really made a difference? i mean the voice acting only intensified my hatred of the thing, and without the voices, i dont think we woulda been laughing that hard, “hey, i like you, why don’t you spend the night at my place?” (although, the voice acting of the old man was pretty good, IMO, the lines in that movie were garbage)
