So.

Around 98% of the cast in Green-ISM can perform a crouch cancel infinite in the corner. The set-up is from an air-to-air Counter hit then crouch cancel with an air chain that will keep them high enough so that you can land and jump again.

I’ve found the following so far:

Akuma: he doesn’t need a Counter hit to set up his infinite because his air Hurricane Kick can be crouch cancelled from. So: corner air HK-> cc’ed [vertical jumping Jab->Strong-> Forward] x n
Ryu/Evil Ryu: [jumping Jab-> Strong] x n. It might be possible to start this combo after his Shinkuu Tatsu in the corner
Cody: [jumping Jab-> Short] x n. It may be possible to land this after Counter hit Bad Spray
Blanka: [vertical jumping Jab->Strong-> Fierce] x n
T.Hawk: [vertical jumping Jab->Strong-> Fierce] x n
M.Bison (Dictator): [vertical jumping Short-> Strong] x n
R.Mika: [jumping Jab-> Short-> jumping Jab-> Strong] x n

So CC’s are in HSFZ? Does the A3 ism have CC’s vs the other isms?

Yes, crouch cancels are in HSFZ. You can even toggle them on or off via the dipswitch. And yes, you can perform them against any character in any ISM.

Interesting HSFA vid. A small note on the Honda Handslap to Super Headbutt combo. I believe you can also start it with a Deep J.Fierce - S.Jab - Fierce Handslap. Pretty hard to start it though, since this might need either a pad with rapid fire or an arcade stick. I know this combo works on CvS2, cause on the EO version where P-Groove has Super cancels, Honda could do this combo as well.

Middle kick: nice find, I did mess around with crouch cancels but not on counter hits. I tried them out of supers and stuff but couldn’t get anything to work. what’s the deal then, does the counter hit stop you from flipping at all?

CH’s stop you from flipping out afaik, so the DS combos are techable on a normal aa but that itself is risky cos you still set yourself up for getting rocked.

K just saw the vid. Were those combos in the DS ism? and do the new isms use the A3 properties? such as counter hits etc.

wtf dan has no recovery on his supers? Are you trying to tell me you cant punish dan after any of his beat em up supers, or dragon punch supers? wtf… also dan always did good damage, doesnt mean he wasnt a bad character still. Anyway back to the supers though im sure sure dan is punishable after that shit. Unless they made some weird “new” A1 dan, cuz I deffintly dont remember him being good.

I don’t believe so. I remember Xenozip mentioning something ages ago, along the lines of Akuma having an infinite with the HK but with no practical set-up. Perhaps this is what he was referring to; somehow hit the opponent with the air HK at the correct height and keep cc air HKs. Somehow.

The Green-ISM Akuma infinite kills CE-ISM characters after 4 reps.

Well actually I’m speaking of the Lvl 1 Super qcb, qcb + K. I don’t know if on the lvl 2/3 version of the super the DP comes out on the end if the opponent blocks, but I don’t think it does. For DP super yes there is recovery of course. But there is little use to use it on the ground, only for AA. I think the shinkuu hadouken super was safe too though. Can’t remember exactly.

So no word on sun burned Sakura yet?

Are you 100% certain all that stuff works middlekick? like you had flipping on and you did multiple reps and stuff? Props if it does :slight_smile: Also what was the ism of the training dummy? I’m sure alpha 1, 2 and CE characters have different juggle properties as they can’t flip out of stuff.

EDIT: reading your posts, i’m guessing they work on all ism, lol.
EDIT, EDIT, EDIT: Also are you saying you don’t need counter hits to pull these off? I just spent a bit of time trying guys, both after his chain and his super and couldn’t do it once. I totally suck at crouch cancelling but not even once? I remember trying to do this while making the vid and again I could pull it off.

Tested on multiple ISMs and characters.

Just now I was able get air HK-> 2149+Short-> infinite. Could 2149+Short x n be the elusive A3 Akuma infinite?

For all the other characters except Cody, Guy and Akuma, a counter hit is required to perform their infinite. Though Guile and Charlie might have a non-Counter hit set-up as well.
Keep in mind that for Cody’s and Guy’s non-Counter set-ups they must be performed against A3-ISM characters; A,X,V,Classic, Green, Red, Blue. Try the Akuma one, that one seems the easiest.
