Wait, I’m lost, so is the regular A3 on there arcade perfect or not? We get reports from e3 saying that the version (US) there wasn’t arcade perfect, but then we get conflicting reports with the completed Japanese version?

I just wanted to update:

Test Birdie standing MK , you are able to airblock it on the home port of A3.

So far A3 everything arcade only I tested seems to work on the console port.

Alpha 3 arrange also seems to use the Arcade engine because all the arcade crouch cancels , infinites etc work in the A3 arrange mode also.

I also noticed that when I go to to options by hitting R1 + start, and hitting R1 again and gain I get a extra 2 pages of minor system changes.

The only thing left I am not able to figure out is how people are using all these new charecters and ISMs that where reported earlier.

If anyone comes across anything please let me know.

Actually all indications right now are that it is in fact arcade perfect. So you still lose the bet.

Regarding changes made to Cody for the PS1 and Saturn versions; the freezing bug that occurred when V-Cody dodges Akuma’s air fireball in the CPS2 version was fixed for the PS1 and Saturn games but is now back in the SFZFG game.

However, I asked PSX to test Cody’s inability to block the Take no Prisoner Super to see if Capcom had taken steps to fix what was in my opinion a pretty embarrassing glitch.
It appears that they have left it unchanged.

The glitch-driver which had been removed in all previous A3 ports has been left intact for SFZFG.

Just so there’s no confusion: when PSX says ‘still’, he is stating that the elements tested in SFZFG Zero 3 have been left unchanged from the arcade version and not the PS1 port.

The endings are all in Japanese.

If you can handle a short wait, I would say just wait and get a cheaper American port in full English.

If youre feeding for a game I would say import it now and get your game on.

the gamefaqs fellow with the game said he figured out how to get alpha2 running in english…most likely possible with 1/3 too no?

I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t been keeping up with this thread so I don’t know whats been posted and what hasn’t been. I know when I talked to BAS about the home version he said crouch cancel has been changed. I asked if VSak and VAkuma still had their VC enders with CC and he said yeah. I was like, ‘then whats been changed sucka?’ and his only reply was, ‘it’s not like arcade’.

Wow, a friend told me about all of those isms on the phone and I was like yeah right you read wrong. Holy shiznit! This game is going be insane.

I asked the local EB about this game and they never heard of it :frowning:
