And this has to be an arrange version, because if you look at the character select, it still doesn’t have Guile or any of the other disposable characters on it.
Also, parry FTW. Why not make the ‘arrange’ mode crazy as hell? Throw in Mech Gouki while we’re at it.
Apparently, Play-Asia is shipping the Japanese version now. Hopefully, we’ll get some hands on impressions here soon, then. Sadly, my PS2 is not import-ready, so I’ll have to wait for the US release.
In that case I won’t be getting that thing, regardless of how good an idea it would be, until I hear some more reviews of it. In fact, if I see an influx of them in the used shops around here, I’ll have my answer.
A quick look at Sunburned Sakura’s and regular Sakura’s Air Hadouken in MvsSF shows that the Air Hadouken in the Capcom shot has similar animation to regular Sakura’s; meaning it could be the short-ranged version that dissipates in the air after a little while - and not the full-screen ST Akuma style one of Sunburned Sakura.
This new Z3 Sunburned Sakura also has a slightly shorter Guard Power Gauge than regular X-ISM Sakura.
Also, why has no one commented on Chun Li’s new close standing Strong? Could this be a
new SF2-ISM Chun?
Then we’ll see a clip on the net of someone actually parrying an entire VC and we’ll all lose our minds.
Anyway, I hope this is what we’re assuming it is, this would make for an interesting new ISM for the Arrange version of SFA3. I say leave the arcade version as-is and go balls out with Arrange, throw in everything but the kitchen sink. That way we basically get two different games in one, and the arcade purists get their way as well.
I was laughing more at the fact they said it had “arcade-perfect gameplay”
what the hell is going on with this game…parries??
whatever, i’m still gonna play it, hopefully it’ll be soon so i can find out what the hell is going on.
