Wow stop being a bitch and actually read his post again. He never told you to learn V ism. He was just giving you match up info and why X-sak isn’t a good character. If you just started playing the game, you should’ve started with A sak. It’ll give you a chance to learn the ins and outs of the game. Not too mention X ism is more a less the expert ism imo. You really have to know character matchups, move properties, have a better than avg. ground game, and know your character completely to be able to beat the other isms which have a lot more options.

You posted a problem: you like X-ism because of the combo, but you can’t do it. You were given a solution: if the reason why you are playing X-ism is because of the combo, and you can’t do, then try Z-ism instead. Z-ism can do the same shit as X-ism can, plus all the fringe benefits – you don’t have the benefits of X-ism since you can’t do what you want with it anyway.
You were pointed out the basic advantages of V-sak. There was no mention of crouch cancels. No mention of VCs. Fine, you know that X-sak can’t do command normals, but apparently you still want to stick to something that flat out sucks. There’s a word for that: scrub.
Here’s my advice: eat shit and die.

I play V-cody,A-guy,V-akuma,V-sak,V-nash, and V-gief(my best character)
I’m just starting to play Alpha 3 but the only access I have to it is the Playstation version.
I’d like to know the major differences between the arcade and PSX versions and how greatly it affects balance and maybe character rankings.
Sim – overall slower and missing his far SK; not so sure how this affects his ranking (definitely weaker, but weak enough to change his ranking?) since I’ve never played against a human on the PS
Karin – controls changed somewhat after the OTG; ranking not changed, but will definitely need to get used to
Adon – recovery times changed; faster, but VCs are next to impossible because of it
Rolento – I think V-ism far FP was changed
Gief – no more kabboti cancel, which slightly weakens him a bit
new a3 a-cho!

Any good V-Gen combos?
what strats or tips do you have for a V-Cody? or which Ism best suits him. I believed V-Ism because of the free automatic dodges he does from basic blocking. But I actually suck at A3 and I’m trying to change that. I run V-Cody and V-Sodom for the moment, but needed a bit of expertly experience from other players to improve my game. Thanks :tup:

A lot of people who are new to A3 want to play Gen, and they’ll ask, “why should I learn both styles?” I hope someone’s saving these vids, because an .wmv is worth a thousand words…
My question was about the execution of the combo, a combo which isn’t Ism specific, so I don’t really understand why when I ask a question about execution, I get a whole bunch of responses stating “you can’t do it so don’t bother with it.”
It just sounded to me like tier-obsessed SRK again, so forgive my outburst. I’m sorry about that. I AM playing Z-Sak now because after playing some matches I understand that CPS1 Fierce isn’t worth it. I shouldn’t have even mentioned X-ism. I should’ve just asked for help about performing her b&b (which I can do now).
