no what i meant bye gotta mix things up is different mix ups get you closer or further as far as spacing thats why you gotta mix things up ^^
is there a tutorial vid for the 100% stun on shotos?
im doing the super, then dash c.hk~mp fukiage, then when i dash it doesnt come out.
if im p1, starting on the left, then super, the kara mp fukiage should hit with me on the left side right? so i would be able to dash right after for the lp fukiage?
help plz  i wanna end it vs a ken so i dont have to take more risks after i connect that
I had this problem for a long time, actually I still do.
You might be getting confused because I believe the dash cancels the super but it doesn’t cancel the dp so after the first dp you just have to wait til it’s done then dash, similar to a link.
(Not entirely sure if I am full of poo or not on this one)
whaaaat? that cant be right…i mean the fukiage recovery is wayyyy too long then the dash recovery isnt the greatest either. ill just try and find a match where its done and replay it for the meantime someone has a guarenteed answer…
Gray Fox is right. You can’t dash cancel a fukiage. After the kara, they bounce toward the direction that you started on, therefore that’s the direction you dash. In other words, the whole combo takes place in a relatively small amount of space. The only dash cancel is the one which ends the super, so you have to be fast to keep them as high as possible.
the kara is standing rh also not c.rh which can be difficult but basically you gotta do
karakusa fierce super dash cancel(soon as fukiage part hits) then input DP backwards go to neutral then hi rh~mp then wait and dash back do jab upper YOU ARE EXTREMELY CLOSE if you can jab them when you dash the second time or hayate them which is aggrivating but still is prety dope to know you are that close!
i even stumbled upon some top secret info before you do the 100% learn the 99% it’s a tad easier on everyone except shoto’s on the shoto’s i think it’s equally as difficult to get that last fierce but shit goes
karakusa fierce early tsurugi fukiage jump twards fierce if you get that shit down it’s still beasty because all you gotta do is a shit hayate mixup catch them with karakusa and it’s GG for them basically.
yes it should hit you on the left side, and what lp fukiage are you talking about? the 2nd fukiage?
You want to execute the first fukiage as early as possible without whiffing. Think of it as a meaty, and the ken will fall into its closing frames. This will give you the most time to dash and execute the next fukiage. The timing takes practice. Different characters fall at different speeds too, so you just gotta get used to it.
well.
i managed to hit with lp once out of like 15 times. not the lp fukiage though :(.
what i dont understand (because of the camera angle) is that does she do her back dash or her forward dash animation?
im trying this on ryu (im sure this will go for all shotos fall time right?)
i can kara mp fukiage perfectly, im just still not getting the dash off correct. i should be dashing to the side they bounce to if i did the kara fukiage right, correct? thanks for all the help
yes, dash to the side that they are falling. if you can get the kara mp fukaige correctly, you’ve mastered like 95% of the combo… you got the hard part down.
both dashes are forward dashes.
i find that the complete opposite to be true. even on the first dash its possible you do it so early you whiff the kara completely, or get there a fraction too late and they bounce too awkwardly, or you dash back a fraction too late and just miss or you dash back and buffer an accidental hayate or you dash back and get a jab or your dash never comes out cuz you tried to dash during the recovery of the kara dp, etc. the kara dp is fairly easy, it never changes. mag i’ll try to show you this this weekend
show me too!
People always talk about different shit like the neutral part of the kara or just the kara itself or even what direction you need to do the motions. The funny thing is no one ever mentions that you have to wait until the fukiage is done to dash, which for me is the HARDEST part. I honestly have no idea when it is done recovering and I end up mashing my inputs really bad. Many times I’ll get lp or hayates instead of a fukiage all together.
The kara fukiage is hella easy in comparison for me. Maybe I’m just an odd one or something.
by saying that the kara fukiage was the hardest part, i meant everything about it, not just doing a kara fukiage. the guy said he can time it perfectly and what not.
