Wolverine is an overated POS anyways…I’d rather he was just permanently replaced by Deadpool…it would make the Xmen cartoon better in almost every single way…

Xmen evolution is also on Netflixs it’s actually really good. Didn’t realize it was like 4 or 5 years ago that show started
Season 1-3 are the only seasons that matter for the 90s xmen show. It fell off hard after that
Once it started tthe multi-part episoides I lost interest…the emphasis on Phoenix didn’t help either, there are parts of the xmen mythos I like, none of them revolve around anyone related to or named after any incarnation of Wolverine/Cyclops/Jean Grey.

I will ask this though: Whats up with the constant Shadow King vs. Storm fights in all the iterations of the Xmen shows? I never knew those characters had that much of a history.
IIRC, in the comics storyline, after her parents were killed in the bombing , she was an orphan on the streets of Cairo. She was taught to be a pick pocket by Achmed el Gibar. Somehow, she tried to lift xaviers wallet as a kid, who stops her. However, Shadow King notices his presence and challenges xavier to a psychic duel. He loses and is banished to the astral plain. I dont know the exact connection. Perhaps SK had his own gang in cairo which kid storm was in conflict with? Anyhoo, Shadow King has had a grudge against Charles, storm for a long time.
Youre thinking of Jean. Storm would be fine unless she got hit by a laser blast or some aerial threat.

They tried to keep the image of the Punisher as faithful as they could in the kid’s show…

Storm was great though. I looked forward to one of her epic incantations whenever she was on screen “ARTIC WIIIIIND” usually being the precursor.
