Piggybacking off this, The Shadow King actually ruled Cairo and pretty much had the entire city on lock, telepathically. But The Shadow King only existed on the Astral Plane because his body was destroyed. He somehow duplicated his body as Amohl Farouk. Storm was on order to give money to Achmed, who gave it to Farouk. Anyway, Prof X got his pocket picked, got it back, then the Shadow King attacked him. After that, they met in a bar and battled on the astral plane. Charles won the battle and in the result ended up destroying The Shadow King’s host body thus freeing Cairo of his rule.

That victory was the one that lead Xavier to creating an actual team to beat up evil mutants since The Shadow King was the first evil one Charles ever encountered.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

But yeah, The Shadow King ruled Storm’s homeland.

Seriously…

Probably my favorite scene I remember was when Storm shot lightning at Magneto and Magneto repelled it with his magnetic field. As a kid who loved science I just though that was cool that the cartoon recognized that electricity and magnetism were one in the same.

I remember being freaked out about quasi-human looking Apocalypse because his body was like skin tone but he still had the creepy eyes and the duck lips.

IIRC Magnus told her as much after he did it. And like others said, David Hemblen was PERFECT as him.

he sounds like megatron from beast wars.

iirc, xmen evo Apocalypse had the same voice actor as Beast wars Megatron–David Kaye

X-Men evo is straight garbage until the Apocalypse episodes. Then and only then at the one shining moment of awesome, they fucking cancel it.
