My opinion doesn’t need validation since the majority agree with me that it sucked. The question i’m asking is if anyone really wants to see another one after this. I’m on the fence.
Personally, i would not be particularly excited for the next one. However, after two movies in, they might as well finish it off and add final closure to this trainwreck. Sorta like episode 4 of Star Wars.

What? All I said was this film is not as bad as crucades said it was. It’s not a 1 out of 10 film and I clearly said it would devide SRK. I thought it was better than Prometheus because Prometheus already ruined the origin of the space Jockeys. In fact even before I saw Covenant I already knew that David was the creator of the Xenomorphs and I even predicted the “switch” at the end.

Everybody predicted the twist tho cause the bullshit was so blatant it’s not technically not even a twist. Also being pre-spoilered to a dumb fact and still enjoying is terrible fanboi shit.
Like am not sayin covenant is utterly worthless as entertainment but it’s certainly a 0 - 10 match up vs the movies it takes its inspiration from, you know classics such as Samurai Cop and the Toxic Avenger.

Yup. Even though Prometheus was a HUGE disappointment and overall stupidass movie, at LEAST it wasn’t a slap in the face to the fans.
Alien Covenant however, totally shat the bed in every possible way regarding the lore/mythos.
The extended intro scene available on DVD is pretty good and sorta further explains David’s intentions/mentality since he was born.
Prometheus deleted first scene where Weyland gives a lecture about Prometheus (Greek mythology) was really good too.
Shame they cut those off for theatrical version. I hope Scott gets to finish this Alien prequels series with Awakening amidst rumors of Fox rebooting the series
