It’s Prometheus 2 however I’m speculating that since the Blomkamp movie is no longer happening and this dark “Run” poster I think we’re going to get something tonely similar to Alien and Aliens rather than Prometheus.
It’s a Prometheus sequel. Next follow up poster will say “in straight line”

I wanted to see Engineer footage on that trailer…
Yea too me the only point of interest of the whole predator/alien expanded universe is the origins and demise of the engineers.
Impressions of the trailer: could be good, but it looks like it’s just Alien But Not Alien? Elizabeth Shaw looks to be nowhere in sight, but that could very well be intentional. David still there, but probably instigating shit as some wannabe Engineer. Plot appears to be random ship finds derelict ship with strange alien eggs and then someone gets their face hugged… JUST LIKE ALIEN. And then they appear to bring the person back and some weird creature jumps out of their body… JUST LIKE ALIEN. And then they’re trying to figure out how to get rid of it… JUST LIKE ALIEN. 
Too little to tell just from a two minute trailer though.
I’ll probably watch it just for Fassbender’s David again. Dude killed it, even with Prometheus as a whole was not so great.

Yeah we have already seen Alien, seems more like a reboot of that series than what was started in Prometheus.
I just remembered watching a cartoon as a kid and seeing in the cartoon that had one of the characters watching TV and it was showing Aliens where riply is facing against a xenomorph and it had its mouth tongue pop out and within in it another one pops out and then another one pops out of that one lol. Anyone know what show that was, I was thinking maybe a duck tales episode but it could of been the other ones during the afternoon block in the late 80s or early 90s.

For some reason, tiny toon adventures popped in to my head, but Google didn’t produce anything.
I know there’s a sequence in Animaniacs that features a xenomorph, but I don’t think that’s what you’re referring to. I can vaguely remember watching the multi-mouthed alien somewhere, too.
God dammit. Now I’m obsessing about it.
Animaniacs did that bit, so did Tiny Toons IIRC.
Hell, all the Spielberg cartoons pulled a gag like that at some point, I think.
The Simpsons had some great ones, Willy crawling through the air ducts but something is stalking him, the alien turns out to be Bart’s dog.
I believe that was an episode of Gargoyles. The teen gargoyles were watching a random channel on TV and it was a loose interpretation of Vasquez (she wore a red bandanna). The alien hopped out in front of her and did that multiple mouths thing and then she shot it… why I remember that, I don’t know.
Late to the party but finally bothered to watch the trailer and… couldn’t care less about the Xenomorph stuff. Been there, done that.
Even though Prometheus itself was a cinematic trainwreck and little more than a glorified, feature-length, teaser trailer for a sequel. It still had a lot of good ideas & concepts behind it and i was hoping they’d continue where they left off with the engineer stuff. Looks like they’ve abandoned ship on all that and gone back to stale Xenomorphs. Shame.
Prometheus sucked and underperformed because it was an incompetent movie, not because of the concepts behind it. It had a lot of promise which i hoped would be redeemed with a proper follow up and, not a tired Aliens retread.
They are never going to go I to the Engineers so you guys might as well give up hope on that.
