Almost everyone who’s posted here about going is a GG, 3S, or MB player. Other than George, Ari, and Derek, no Marvel player has expressed interest in going.

Will Tekken DR (PS3) be there as well? Also, sorry if this isn’t considered a serious “fighting” game around here, but how bout Smash Bros. Since it is at EVO, I wouldn’t see why not. The only problem is competition. I realize it’s mostly 3s, gg, and mb, but just wondering. Also, what time does the event end at?
ari, they definately have lots of wow, but I think the pricing is different to use the labs. there are a bunch of people there who play avidly tho.
from nickels, you would take dundee west to algonquin and turn right. follow that for about a mile until you see cad on the right. probably about a 1/2 hour drive for you if no traffic.

well, the thing is… none of us (me, jim, jose) actually live downtown. we’re all from different north suburbs. jose is a bit closer downtown than jim and i though.

I just need -A- way of getting out there. Even if it’s a matter of taking a metra somewhere and being picked up from the station. I sold my car when I moved to the city, so I don’t have any other options. shrug
If I could get a cab from the nearest metra or something, I’d do that. It doesn’t sound like that’d be an easy option, considering how far out Algonquin is.

well, i could pick you up at wilmette metra station (union north line) or linden cta station (purple line) before driving. i don’t recommend the purple line since is slow as hell. it’s what i take to work everyday cus it’s cheap, but it will take you an hour to get from the loop to linden.
jose might be close to a station, too.
but either way, you’d have to ride a car for 40 minutes also.
it actually might be simpler if you just ride down to crystal lake and get picked up by kenny, but that’s entirely up to you.
im not sure if i can come this friday, but if i do… can i meet up w/ you guys at jim’s place and carpool there?
ill play gg, mb, smash (if ppl want). dont know how to play tekken.

Sorry guys, cant make it this friday. Had saturday off, but now got stuck with a 9-5 shift (plus i get off at 10 on friday). In two weeks from friday, i might be able to do it though.

Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection? Thats up to Nate…he’s the one with the PS3…I don’t think he downloaded it yet, so I’ll have to ask him about it. Smash isn’t even really considered a “fighting” game to most of us…but I do NOT want to get into that debate…because it is stupid and pointless. I can say that it won’t be there, however…this neck of the woods has a lot of smash players…
It’s mostly 3S and GG, yes…but all other fighters are welcome…this is why we have 4 tv’s…and the party don’t stop until you decide you’re going home
