not sure if I’m going yet. it looks like a good number of people are going, so I want to go. I just don’t know if we have anything planned for tomorrow yet. if I can go, I’ll try dragging carl with too so he can get some more games in. it seems like he really wants to start playing fighters, but he hasn’t played anything like that in over 10 years.

If he’s really genuinely interested in playing fighting games again, I think you need to ease him into it a bit. Instead of Guilty Gear, I think ST is a good game to start with, so he can learn the basics of fighting games (blocking, mixups, throwing, tick-throwing, poking, zoning/spacing, footsies, anti-airs, etc.). If he learns ST, he would have all the necessary building blocks to play other fighting games, such as Guilty Gear.
ya I know. that’s why I kinda want him to take the trip to cad where he can get a good variety of games in instead of just gear.
