Gah. There needs to be a CAD fallback plan. I’m dependent upon others for a ride, and it seems like people are getting stale about the drive out there. Come on, I started actually practicing GG a few weeks ago, and now I have yet to hang out with everybody, again. CAD is even a 4 hour round-trip for me. 
Does anybody live somewhere within mass transit’s reach that would like to get together every once in a while? I need human comp. >_< I live on the south loop. I’d be glad to take a metra or have somebody hang at my place for a while. shrug

hey, i’ve been looking for some GG comp. I’m going to school at Illinois Institute of Technology (33rd and State Street). The CTA train stops in the middle of my school. If you like, we can meet up and play. I’m mostly a GG player, and I’ve pre-ordered a copy of Accent Core for the PS2, which should arrive sometime next week; I also play a little 3s, but i’m not good. I used to play MvC2, but i haven’t played it in a while now.
I won’t be there tonight, going to great america early in the morning tomorrow.
I was gonna post somethin else, but this thread has seen enough drama. Keep holdin’ this down Kenny/Cliff. People will start comin back eventually.
I’m not knocking you at all. You OR anybody else. I know how life goes. We all have our commitments else.
All I’m saying is that it’s harder for me to get out there than anybody, and I have no choice but to be reliant on other people as well. I would just like an option that didn’t involve a 4-hour hitch and bugging other people for rides, since it’s unlikely that schedules will always match up. I’m trying to pick up GG hard, lately, so I’m really seeking out the comp.
I’m sure we can work something out. I have Jap Accent Core and a boot loader. I’m mostly a 3S player that’s picking up GG because the Chicago players lean that way pretty hard. Do you live in the dorms or something? I live right next to the Roosevelt stop, so you’re really close to me. My apartment’s easy to get to, too.

Yeah, if anyone else was going, i’d prolly go, but its not worth it to go all that way alone.
I’ll go if anybody is leaving for there from somewhere I can get to by eL train and would enjoy my obnoxious company. If not, you chumps will have to party without me.

Nate: If you ever want to take the Metra out to Elgin one of these weekends (not this weekend), we can game! =D We can train in some GG, but playing against one character in that game for extended periods of time is lulz. I play 3s, too! Don’t play it well, but I play at least half the cast! =D
Man, looks like today’s gonna be pretty dead. While I did have fun last week, I think I’ll stay home myself today as well. Long day at school, and I don’t really wanna make myself get up if there isn’t gonna be many people there. Better turnout next week, hopefully.

like I told ya before man, if you can make it out to the rosemont el station, that’s like 10 mins from my place. dunno if this is easier for you or yosh on fridays, but it’s an option you should look into. either way, we should definately try to make next friday a good gathering.
I now have a ps3 with tekken dr and vf5 so now I will show up next friday with the
equipment.
i also kind of feel like i need to take a break from friday night gaming in general. it’s just that friday’s been a “gaming night” for me for a while (even before cad, when i went to jim’s place for gg). it was all fun, but then the past 3 weekends made me realize that i’ve also been missing out on a lot of stuff.
that being said, i might go to cad next friday but there’s no guarantee.
