Great games to everyone last night…and wizard world was cool this year.
A few of my friends had a booth at Wizard World this year. I didn’t go because I have no interest in the stuff they produce, though. =)
But yeah, good games on Friday. I’ll have my stick done in a couple days. I ordered the last minor part I need to make my life less miserable. This stick has cost me a freakin’ fortune.
Also, I finally ordered what I need to play imports, so I need to get ahold of jap GG until the US version hits shelves in a month. I refuse to be the local scrub. I WILL compete hard, and very soon.
Few questions.
Did anyone here go to the indy tourny this weekend? I know humbag and alot of others did so im curious. Also how far are you guys from STL. You should hold a tourny, and if not anyone down for some money mathces?

The post that came as a response to this was all information i already knew. I cant travel to play only those niche games however. Drop in some cvs2, st, or even marvel vs capcom 2 and im down.
Im trying to make money match challenges tho, so i could come on a random day and not a random friday(!?) tourny.

c’mon niggas at least give me some kinda answer, also would any of you be interested in a console tourny in st louis. We have some amazing guilty players in missouri from andrew in columbia to aaron from st louis(millia from hell) as well as third strike, so holler in the stl thread if you would be interested. Trust me the comp is well worth the drive, and the venue is quite nice.

to answer your question… the tourney this upcoming friday will feature only 3s and accent core. not many people in the chicago-land area play st, for all i know, and i actually don’t know how big this tourney will be either. even most of chicago folks (myself included) are driving about an hour to get to algonquin.
as for a stl tourney, i’d definitely be interested… as i know aaron and good friends with andrew (722) also. and steve!! i love that guy (NO HOMO).
Wondering if any of you guys would be interested in a console tourny in St. Louis. I have a nice venue ready and now im just trying to get a show of heads so to speak. From stl alone we should have about 10 in each game, about 25 in tekken. Im thinking of holding the tourny in early december or january.

I can also house, likely up to like 15. Ask anyone whos stayed with me(ex Mycha Leonhart comes to my mind from cleveland), the hospitality is that of a **** four star hotel. So no paying for room. Only expenses will be tourny entry, gas, and food that isnt breakfast(as long as you stay with me, we be eating good in the morning before the tourny.)

Nobody’s against you spreading word for your event. However, you should have just made a thread about it and then linked people to it with a short description. Acting interested in our small get togethers, then making semi-snide comments about it, then hyping your own event… probably not gonna’ sit too well with most of the chicago crew. We’re an angry people.
