Also consider the fact the Street Fighters have all âbulkedâ up in general since Alexâs last official appearance. Dude was supposed to rival the size of Zangief, but characters like Ryu and Ken are portrayed to be a similar body type to the classic Gief. Now Gief has to be portrayed like the Hulk to be able to keep up with comparisons.
Spoiler
Iâm also surprised no on commented on how crappy Bengusâ artwork made Alex out to be.
Grey area. Yoshihari Motoki has done âofficialâ art before, but this specific drawing (and many others) are fan art. Heâs just been associated with capcom for a while.
@bakfromon : Bengus art for SFV is wack as fuck imo. He posts infinitely better stuff on twitter.
Edit, actually, a lot of the stuff in story mode looks great, albeit some of it still looks âunfinishedâ
the teaser? just his game assets. his reveal? obviously just⌠his game assets.
they can use texture resolutions unavailable on the pc or ps4 release and additional light sources etc., this is like typical marketing trickery, but none of it is stuff only made for a tiny teaser except just posing and a few seconds of key framing and camera positioning.
Tuesday maybe.
Seems like it would make some sense. Let people know whatâs coming and also they immediately get to make note of the fight money system and how you wonât need to buy another disc version for characters, updates, etc.
I have to say I was skeptical at first about his new outfit, but I have to admit itâs growing on me! He looks like a younger more hotheaded version of his SF3 version and is even lacking his signature red paint. As long as his classic look is included later as an alternate, I will be more than satisfied with his look.
I could do without the waist wrapped plad shirt but overall I like the design. I want to see his trailer real bad because that SFV art style from bengus looks like utter shit to me. Tiny feet, bad anatomy that has nothing to do with style and awkward perspective.
i was originally planning on maining Bison, but with Alex coming out so soon that might not happen. i love grapplers but Zangief and Mika were a bit too cartoonish for my taste so im pretty hyped for his more brawling/semi-realistic throws.
I really dig his look because itâs mostly faithful to his SFIII version, while still making him look younger. The suspenders either explain hiding his scars or they are so tight they created the scars.
