ALright, lets say, hypothetically that a team is forumed (wild card) and then enters the 5 on 5. we then have 5 teams! (this is if Van does decide to organize a team) If van does not have a team or wish to enter (they wouldn’t have their 3 best players in attendance)

Heres an Idea that just crossed my mind. What if (just for the sake of argument) we made 5 teams. North ed, South ed, East ed, West ed, Vesper Money Crew.
That combined with the other 3 teams gives us atleast 8 teams and could turn out to be really interesting, get back to me. We don’t have alot of time to get this shit going.
To be honest, I have no interest in drama. I’ll support whatever Steve and the rest of you agree to and I’m open to just about any team that wants me. I say “just about” because I’d rather not be on a team of, say, people’s girlfriends. Haha…

I also think the actual tournament should be a $20 entry fees… 10$ too small. Get some real tournament prizes going on but then i’m also a gambling man.

You know what would solve everything instead of doing this whole repping City thing. Just host the event as 5 vs 5 teams and not Edm vs Cgy or Edm vs Van. Honestly, I don’t want a head ache trying put together another team Calgary and ppl argueing who should be on the team. Its unfair to claim glory over another city defeat, lets say Team Edm beats a Team in Vancouver it doesn’t mean Edm beat the best in Vancouver. It only means Edm beat a team from Vancouver bc who knows who is the best in Vancouver b/c they never had their round robin and same as Sask. So if Edm beats Lap’s team this time around it only means your Top guys in Edm defeated a team from Calgary, and if you do your round robins to determin whos best in Edm and Lap’s team beats that team that would mean Lap’s team defeated the best in Edm. Am I making any sense? God dam its hard to write on a hang over.
I dont see why you need todo a round robin anymore. If you have a 2nd team you think is better then Gordens then beat his team at the tourney 5 vs 5 insted.

Oh yah and 1 last thing from what I learnt from tourneys and qualifying round robins. Just because you r good at the round robin doesn’t mean you’ll be good at the tourney, just because u r good at home don’t mean u r good playing live. Alot of ppl croak under pressure some are top casual players and will never win a tourney.
