btw would any DF kick/palm be effective as fake crossup(DFK for fake crossup and super wierd landing. DF palm cr.lk for a true crossup)? Seems nice vs some characters, but i cant really test now ;s

You know, we could just keep going in an endless circle of you being completely ambiguous and uninformative, or you could just agree that a video demonstration leaves no doubt. It doesnât matter if basic moves are used for timing or not if some people are still having issues, and arenât sure exactly what âsmall stepâ, âslight delayâ or âaim for X partâ is and how it greatly affects the outcome.
What u dont understand is that, this wasnt my point even though i can make it be as thats the point of multiple ppl confirming stuff+numbers dont lie lol. Im totally not âblamingâ or sth that Sol took (an arrow in the knee) the time to put vids of some confirmed setups. It is nice to be able to watch them in a vid no doubtâŚ
My point was that i wrote what shinakuma said (about the j.mk fake and true crossup depending on its timing) like a week earlier. Now, i really dont care AT ALL about getting some kind of credit for finding a setup etc (and im really sorry if i missed a post including any kind of stuff that i wrote about after said person did) and all i meant for this was sth along the lines of âdamn, sol you could have known/demonstrated/used this knowledge earlier if you only read that postâ. I hope you feel me

Some info about the added recovery on the throw:
You can now safe jump chars with slower recovery times like Cammy, Sim, Rog with the old throw, dash, dash, j.rh setup. Also that same setup is slightly worse vs Viper (possibly more) as if you srk OS Viper will be able to fp tk feint and block the srk.
It is now possible to do throw, dash, dash, DF throw without delaying the DF at all. This is useful vs Abel as his only option out of it a backdash. Its also useful vs Cody, Bison, Rufus as you can DF palm safejump or DF throw instead with the same timing making it easier than before.
vs Bison, throw, dash, dash, j.rh mp/fp srk OS will now beat ex pc/scissors. In corner you can do a similar setup, throw, dash, dash, nj.mk OS mp srk will beat ex pc/scissors/reverse keeping him in the corner. If he does headstomp instead it will whiff and he will get some frame advantage (as u srk OS).
vs Sim, throw, dash, dash, j.rh mk tatsu OS will safejump his ex flame and catch any backdash and back teleport for a free fp srk afterwards (for the back teleport case).
Also DF palm whiff on crouching opponent (after their wakeup) like Ibuki, Sakura, Makoto

I just tested the j.mk corner setup against Fei and I couldn´t block it. Maybe it´s just me, but it seemed like a confirmed unblockable.

Strange enough Honda seems like one of the few characters in the game where a cross up is always a cross up. Even dive kick crosses him up fairly easily.
Not going to lie. I can hit the classical unblockable rather consistently with dash c.MP
I am officially calling this the throw buff instead of the throw nerf.
LOL! It does seem that way at first glance, but really, it makes things a little more complicated for Akuma players, especially new Akuma players, who will now have to rely even more on setups than ever before. sigh
On a side note, I tried the Yun setup 2 nights ago in an online match only to get stuffed twice. How delayed does the DF dive kick have to be? I tried to time it so it starts when Iâm right over where his head would be (on wakeup). Should it be more delayed? Or maybe Iâm not getting the fs.HK to go off early enough⌠I thought I had it down in practice mode. Damn lag!!
Actually it doesnât. It will take some time to relearn, but I actually like how much easier it is to time some of these set ups that before required a lot of work to hit.

Yea classic unblockable is the previous Dash x2 unblockable. I put that term there because I have been using Dash c.MP with some success.
Actually I just havenât had the time to test it on those characters so it is always possible to find one. The only ones I had no luck so far was Bison and Honda.
A fake crossup/true crossup setup vs Bison is all thats needed because of the ex pc etc. I wasted alot of time on him aswell lol
