Akuma fixes in SFIV DAsh!

Yeah it’s going to be a new disc but it will hit the arcades first in Japan. Afterwards consoles but the super air hadoken is nice. A little more health more health would be nice like 15% more health.

(do ya know when it’s coming to arcades?)
and everyone needs more health in SF4
cept gief… and gat… fuck them

fights are always over too quick ;;

akuma doesnt need an ultra fireball, maybe a super one would be nice because of the way supers work in this game.

shoot akuma almost doesnt need any changes at all unless they are buffing the hell outta other charachters or change the game dramaticly.

kkz would be hella fun to use in matches tho

Hm. I’m curious to know if Akuma players would take an overhaul of his moveset and damage output in return for a bigger healthbar. Obviously, the main problem here is that he wouldn’t really be the SFIV Akuma we’ve grown to love, cherish and enjoy destroying the hearts of men with.

Still, this is more likely to happen to Seth than Akuma, who’s a bit more on the extreme side of things in terms of HP balancing.

Obviously Akuma will be getting a new Ultra along side Raging Demon, the problem is this will make him even more dangerous than he is now. I don’t want to see him take another HP hit (Definitely unlikely, it doesn’t really fix the underlying problems at hand) or a complete toning down of his ability to rend people asunder.

Fireball Super, I could care less about KKZ. Even if it’s Fireball Ultra, I can still FADC into it, so I’m happy. I hate to say it but Akuma is borderline overpowered, and I’m probably expecting some nerfs if anything. I could see them making a fireball super/ultra only available in the air, that would probably make it very specific-use like the demon.

I don’t need a bigger health bar, no thanks.

KKZ is the most logical addition given that very, very few ultras / supers overlap in this game (in that they rarely take on the same form). Giving out multiple “Super Duper Hadoukens” seems unlikely especially given how outrageously good Akuma already is.

If his ultra was Messatsu Gouhadou that was usable on ground and air, he’d be close to unstoppable. Even if it did like 400 damage as opposed to his 600 damage ultra, he’d be god damn unstoppable.

And KKZ itself is too similar to demon usage IMO. Unless you can fadc into it, which it might as well be more broken than a fireball ultra anyway – since historically the move does massive damage.

This was something I was thinking about; in any situation (the move in 3S had serious start up time and was rarely if ever a useful option) you could use it you could probably just demon them.

I’m also kind of hoping they might throw Messatsu Gourasen in there, despite it being one of Gouken’s normal specials.

Ken in 3s being most balanced high tier is more right.

I would be happy if the Demon didn’t give the opponent nearly 3 bars of EX-meter. We shouldn’t be punished for landing our ultra.

Yes you should… Landing one ultra and winning that round 90% of the times does mean I deserve my super bar.

I would like more health than a super fireball. Also the KKZ would be a hell of a good addition to his arsenal. And as far as a Fireball Ultra from a FADC then that would make him like Ryu UNLESS like Lord said FADC into a Super or Ultra Air Fireball in the air would be nice.

BTW as far as Akuma being overpower well it’s debatable but some tweaks should be involve anyway to make him more balance.

more health = OP bullshit like sagat
the health is the only thing that keeps akuma to a tier

Air teleport!
I would like to see a quicker recovery on his light srk fwiw.

How about another demon ultra that drains your opponents remaining life bar in like 30 seconds or so after it hits. Lets call it Akuma HIV.

KKZ…LK tatsu->HP reset->DDD PPP make it hard as hell but like in 3rd strike unblockable/inescapable.

I’m in so hard if there’s a life-leeching raging demon. Then you just run away for the 30 seconds until they pass from old age or something. HAHA.

Why are people still calling it “Dash”?

keep the demon ultra, give him a ultra with fireball or super with fireball

if he has that he’ll be so great

akuma seems fine the way he is imo except for the super/ultra part

KKZ will be dumb in sf4, with the way the ultras work in sf4 it wont be useful

wait, borderline “overpowered”? don’t get me wrong, i’ve played against some gouki’s that have done a good job teaching me a thing or two, but to say he’s anywhere near over-powered is a bit ridiculous. he takes a lot of skill and practice to get down to even a competent level.

Akuma’s ultra is interesting, in that you aren’t going to be able to land it unless your opponent makes a mistake. A stupid jump in, an unsafe move, etc. We can’t hit-confirm it, unless it’s off of a focus attack, and we’ve proven that it’s useless (and nearly impossible), to combo into it. Why should it give you 3/4’s of a super-bar when it’s your fault you got caught by it?
