Well considering the fact that screenshots of SSFIV indicate that you have to choose which ultra you want before the match (roman numeral of I or II next to revenge gauge) I don’t think a fireball ultra would be broken at all, air or ground or both – since they’d have to forgo the ultra demon if they wanted to use it.
What are the odds of Akuma getting a Gill type ultra/super? Like a Fireball rain?
Or Gills Seraphic Wing but you can only use it when you have stunned your opponent (yay more ultras I rarely get to use 
).
Chances are probably pretty low since those are, you know, Gill specific style supers.
I don’t know what game you’re playing if you find it more difficult to land a cr.LK/LP than the Super.
This set up will not work on anybody that knows how demons work.

well i dont like how you have to play keep away in some machups with akuma
in order to win
he should have the tools to play a high risk/high reward game aganst every character in sf IV having the odds on his side for as long as he can keep mixups mind games and the oponent gessing
in my opinion far better then a new ultra or super(this last one would be useles because of the great akuma ex moves) i would apreciate any of the folowing changes more
–> Demon flip + K should be overhead like gouken’s caching crouching oponents that would realy improve akuma mind games
–> faster foward dash so akuma can be more impredictable when it comes to spacing like in 3s
–>make LK tatsu crossup downed oponents adding to mind games possibilitiest too
just imagine lk tatsu crossup then demonflip + P seting upto lk+lp chain to hit confirm. that would keep em gessing
finaly akuma obviously dont need more health, it is people that need more practice =) like myself
but it wouldnt bother if ultra could go through fire balls as it always did since chip damage can be a bitch latter in the match some times for such a low health bar plus it would render ultra more usefull or at least add to the oponents fear of getting cought by it
but again we would get a lot of people complaining just like his air fireballs in HDremix

wow…really!!! dude wtf…why don’t we make his teleport instant recovery too so we don’t get caught with those pesky punishes. Also his air fireballs should be homing I mean come on people dodging them gets annoying. His uppercut should have quicker start-up and have more invincibility as well.

i think more health is in order, and maybe nerf some of his fireballs or combos to compensate.
Perhaps an aerial ultra/super where he shoots a ton of zanku hadokens diagnolly downward like in mvc2 and you could cancel in from demonflip.
and yeah it sucks you have to play keep away all day with akuma for about every match cept like seth?? haha. I mean you land a bnb combo and ur opponent lands one even if its like dan theyll do more to you…
Akuma has pretty damaging combos, you sure about that? I would not play akuma if they gave him more health and nerfed his fireballs and combos. No thanks.
i’m for keeping as is. any upgrades will most likely result in some downgrades. i’m fine with the current version, but would hate to see some nerfs as a trade for things like more health, blah blah blah…
there are so many other characters were little tweaks would be good (without requiring downgrades)-e.g., gouken getting faster normals or a good hit confirm combo off normals.
akuma is fine as is. feel free to disagree, these are only personal opinions. to each his/her own.
