Make sure when you both run abkcaster it says MBCaster version 090430-ALPHATEST, protocol version 2
on the first line.
And make sure both of you have the stages unlocked too not just the three hidden characters.
he has the game from me… we have identical setups (caster, unlocked content)
this is weird
Bit of a problem here. I have the game up and running just fine. The problem is that I use a PS2 converter and for some reason the game reads the face and shoulder buttons just fine but doesn’t read the d-pad at all. When I turn on analog, the game reads it but something odd happens and it’s like the analog is stuck and it just keeps going up over and over again.
I can do normals but cannot do specials/supers at all.
Any solution to this?
just to check but you guys both have frame skip turned off, correct?
Did you do button config before you started the game? Even the D-Pad can be mapped to different buttons.
I did button config before I ran the game. The game just doesn’t read the pad at all.
Well in that case it just may be your pad. I use a pelican adapter and a regular ol’ PS2 pad, and everything works fine for me. Another problem could be the driver/USB port, but from the problem you’re describing I don’t think it’s that serious.
I use a Super Joybox 3 Pro converter. I just checked all my USB ports and I get the same results. I guess I’ll have to buy that Logitech dual analog controller.
What? No you don’t just use joy2key or xpadder.
I know, i used to idle in the room on the mizumi server when everyone first made the move, #blitzkampf will still re-open tho!!!
I tried joy2key and that crap never worked for me. Xpadder works GREAT.
EDIT: Great work on the wiki people. Damn good job.

Neither of them work and I can ping it just fine but there seems to be some sort of problem.
So, there is another, 3rd official Ko-Hatsu tourney, Der Dritte Raum (yes, DDR for short) being held nao. Day one (May 2nd) has ended, and 2ch says that:
Original posts, in case i suck at translating.
3v3 games are tomorrow.

Any tips for running under Wine? I can’t open the config.exe and set it to windowed mode or set my buttons. I’m using Wine ver 1.1.20.
Oh man, it feels so good to be back into this game.
Everyone gets fucking shot.

If anyone wants tips on Anonym I can throw some shit out~
Oh my gosh, would you please?
I feel lost…
Boy I sure wish more SF players played this!
The reason the config program doesn’t run is the same reason that IaMP’s and SA’s and whatnot don’t either: They don’t link to comctl32.dll, which causes it to explode when it tries to load up the menus. This isn’t a problem in Japanese locale, where it’s linked in by default, but for pretty much everyone else it’s a headache.
I have a workaround for this for the time being, ask me about it on IRC later.
