If it’s not that hard, you go ahead and make one.
isn’t this a really big change? I just started playing but I like how unique his normals are, mainly his Cs that create the illusions. Are the new moves similar or is his style way different now?
There’s euro players in the channel. You refusing to join the IRC channel just means one less euro around for them to play. Nice attitude.
This has the be the dumbest thing I’ve read in a while. GJ
from what i’ve seen, the only changes to his normals are his 5b and 2b; and they aren’t even big changes…5b is still a far reaching poke and 2b is still a short slide move. the mine nerf hurts but he still looks very solid in AA.
take it from me, the best Murakumo.
Though I admit I’m glade this game isn’t loli base theme, I still like the air dash mechanics in them. Its usually adds another layer of depth if implemented properly.
Now with netplay I can get back into the game. Needed a reason to play this again.
Edit: Wow I can understand wanting a simple net tool. But the fact some unknown and random person went out of their way to make a viable net tool at no cost so people can play a game together for the community is being very generous. Yet some one still asking for more.
I for myself is very happy for this. Also it is true about caster being really easy compare to others.
sadly I can only work caster with Iamp and not MB. Hopefully i wont suffer the same here.
This game looks like fun,so I will give it a try!! :cybot:
I’ve never used an Irc before. Do I just go into #AKATSUKI and it works? Should I leave out the #?
It says unable to connect to server.
- Download IRC software (I suggest mIRC)
- Connect to the server irc.mizuumi.net
- Type /join #akatsuki
bingo
irc
Reposting from other thread.- For those who can’t figure out how to use IRC:
Download mIRC (google it). Run it and put in a name. Type /server irc.mizuumi.net
Then once it’s connected type /join #akatsuki
For those of you already on an IRC server that don’t want to switch servers: You can be connected to more than one server at once. You just have to type /server -m irc.mizuumi.net
It will automatically open a new server connection window without killing your current connection.
For those who can’t get IRC working due to ports or routers or whatever, there’s a really easy to use web chat client for mizuumi that should bypass all that:
http://chat.mizuumi.net/irc.cgi
Just put in a name and put in the channel #akatsuki
Lastly, there’s a lot of other clients that support IRC, like Trillian and xchat and stuff like that. There’s sort a list here.

Wow, totally didn’t know that. Now I can play it on my PC-BSD box.
If you’re using the web client I think you just need to input your name for the channel.
If you’re using mIRC, you need to first set up your name in options, then “/server irc.mizuumi.net” once connected type in “/join #akatsuki” and there you are. (Don’t add quotation marks)
Nice…I got dat jaunty waiting to pop off, too. :cybot:
Started playing this game last night and I likie! Its orginal and loove the backgrounds and the graphics are crisp! See ya.
i think it’s time to re-open #blitzkampf on efnet!!
I’m pretty sure going to #akatsuki would be more productive. It’s not like it’s hard to open another window to connect to Mizuumi.
I’m sure you’re being sarcastic, but… like I said before, you can be on two irc networks at once in the same program, so opening another channel is pretty pointless. If you’re on efnet you can still also connect to mizuumi with /server -m irc.mizuumi.net .
i get a black screen after picking characters (during VS screen) when trying to play with a friend
can someone please tell me what’s wrong?
Bell and Mauve are saints.
Did you or your friend unlock Murakumo, Adler and Blitztank? Or have the same caster version?
Hey, just throwing this out there, but #Reload on the PC still survives with a healthy community because of a lobby system. It’s just easier for people to ease their way in and get a taste for the game.
Not saying you guys should do it, since it’s a lot of work and you guys already did something amazingly awesome. I’m just saying the advantage is getting a little understated. Anyways, I’ll have to pop onto IRC sometime again and get some game in. Local comp for this game, while existent, is boring!
