kanae is really really fun to play, i think ill start using her with aka and mari

blitztank… wow. Easy to beat the game with though. Just mash on throw! weeeeee.

Also I want to play matches cause the combo potential of the other characters is sort of limited it seems, we are finding out the best stuff too fast.

Wei is pretty tight.

Gun nun is really the run the fuck away nun, but whatever, she’s got silly combos.

The AI in the full version is cheap as fuck. It seemed much better in the demo. :confused:

Kanae is alright, I like her. She does NO damage unless you land a throw though … 2A 2A 2A B just doesn’t cut it. :I

Also, what the hell is with her command counters? Why would you EVER use those when you can just parry and follow up with 22C?

what is fritz dash super do?

fritz’s dash super is completely invincible and puts space between you and your opponent. yay.

fritz dash super gives him full invincibilty, its just a get out of jail for free option

Her super counter is pretty good. Counters high and low, and is fast so it’s much harder to punish. It seems to be pretty much, “a get out of jail card” card since you don’t have to guess if you should parry high or low.

Truth about the AI. Kanae AI is pretty ridiculous.

impractical Mycale corner combo:

22a hold, 632c, spear hits, j.2c, close 5c, jc.b, j.2b, j.b, j.2c, 5b (4 hits), release hammer, 214c, abc

you want the hammer to hit slightly before the 214c, otherwise the super will whiff if they tech in time.

8596 damage on Aka, might be able to do more by only using C divekicks but thats HARD, also you then might have to sacrifice some hits of the 5b then to make the super not OTG, OTGing scales damage hella in this.

I have the most trouble with AI Marilyn. The AI actually knows how to mixup and combo which is good, but they also know how to just read your button input and beat any escape attempt you try. Doublely hard for Kanae who doesn’t seem to have any safe ‘get out’ options. Of course that’s on Valhalla difficulty… Hard AI is pretty easy by comparison.

The EX Counter is good and all, but I’m more wondering what the point is behind her non-EX counters. Those seem worthless unless I’m missing something.

I’m kind of wondering about 2B as AA too. I’ve noticed that you can’t get any combo off it, BUT you can always seem to land a free 2C afterwards despite it not comboing. I’m wondering if maybe you just have to parry the 2C or what, but the AI never does so I’ll have to grab someone to help me test it out.

Can’t you use her flip (22x) or high counter as AA?

Does the netplay work well for this game?

Pretty sure Flips aren’t invincible at all and I’ve definitely gotten hit out of them all the time. 5B is nice because it’s easy to input on reaction, it’s fast as hell, and has a good hitbox.

This thing is FLYING around as a torrent for whoever either isn’t using MIRC or is too retarded to look themselves. Downloading it now. Hopefully it’ll be done after I get back from work :slight_smile:

What is Anonym’s ultimate super (not sure what terminology they use to refer to this). On the character select screen, it says KO and some japanese characters, instead of button presses/motions. I did remember seeing Anonym revive after dying when I fought the cpu though, but I’m not sure how it activates (randomly, always?)

Netplay is fuzzy, some people are cool others it’s bad. I haven’t gotten a good connection yet, not even with someone in my own town.

Anonym is tight. She’s a long range keep away character with some nutty combos. Yay.

I’m having trouble finding big combos with her. DIdn’t experiment that much with her but the best thing I discovered was probably:

db+A, db+B, b+C, db+A, B(gunshot), C(gunshot), qcf+C, supercancel qcf+BC

It’s possible to just barely hit an A gunshot after the b+C instead of doing a db+A, but then if I continue with B, C, the qcf+C doesn’t hit.
