4a,4b,4c,a,b,cxx22axxSuper looks like her BnB in the corner. She could also do 4a,4b,4c,6c. Most of the time though you’re gonna want to manipulate her strings into hopping away so you can reload, and that seems to be the biggest thing, know when to reload and how. She can do a normal reload from 6a (full reload), or qcf+a/b/c (half reload) or off of a super (full reload). Knowing when and where to reload will make or break how good you are with her.
edit: she has a dive kick also so you can tick into throws or evade projectiles
What do you mean ‘need’? It’s just notation, you can say 2.D or you can say c.D, same thing, it’s not necessary to use either one really, you could just type out crouching you know.
the japanese use that notation for every game though, it’s just the the guilty gear/doujin game communities started using it because theyre wapanese faggots
Yeah, that shit bothered me at first too, but I still say crouching fierce punch when talking about Capcom games, far standing D for SNK games, and j.2C for GG / MB / you get the idea.

So I’ve decided on Kanae as my main, here’s some stuff I’ve found in practice mode:
Cancellable normals are s.A, c.A and f+C (I THINK this is a cancel anyway).
You can combo into her command grab.
s. or c.A are your basic ticks/combos into grab.
f+C gives frame advantage on block, great meaty for tick guessing games.
d,d+X seems to be a pretty all-purpose anti-air (Or you can high counter I guess). It’s also your grab followup.
j.B is a great crossup, link s.A command grab after it.
After jumping in, instead of doing an attack you can do d+C for a crossup. This seems pretty ghetto but I think it might actually work.
After the super grab, you can do the super followup, then the ABC followup, each costing one more meter. You can also OTG after her super followup, but outside of doing it when they’re near death I think you’re pretty much best off waiting for a level 3 before using her meter. Maybe her super counter is worth using, it gets high, low and mid and it doesn’t use meter unless you catch something with it.
