And fuck the last morheim campaign quest
I cant use the grind optimizer because I like to get some reading done while I play. So I purposefully fight mobs 2 levels higher than me, which is slow. So while I rest up, I can read. but at least that way i get the most xp per battle even if it takes longer. Probably would make more sense fighting monsters 2-3 below. Then I can kill multiple ones at a time without resting.
Abyss doesn’t seem like a good place to grind because you constantly have to deal with pvp, it just slows you down. i’m 31 i’m really likin belusan esp all those quests that give you xp for killing mobs you were gonna slaughter anyway.
edit: and whats with all the lower level mobs giving way less xp? laaaaaaaaame. cuz itd probably make more sense to kill shit 10 levels below you. then you’d have 0 down time. i went back to black claw for shits and giggles and was able to kill everything. but they give like no xp now.
So my brother was telling me that some idiot pulled Andre (the big ass rare level 40 thing that takes an alliance or two to kill in Eltnen’s desert) into one of the towns, causing mass havoc and every NPC in the entire town to go on the attack. 
i was just in the best artifact group ever. shout outs to fortress gallowglass for being an awesome tank and fortress ranger for providing the deeps!

some legion was going around capping artifacts for points so i thought i’d try to solo cap the artifact outside of sulfur fort. after painfully training away all the non elites (every time you do this the protector aggros too. he’s ranged and a super elite, i have to pop self heals/pots to live), i managed to get an elite “fortress gallowglass” outside, so when i went to go pull the protector the gallowglass (and a random non elite fortress ranger) aggroed it and started tanking. as i was attacking the protector i thought “hey cool, since i pulled it my legion will get credit for capping”, a bunch of lowbies were “helping out” as well but i wasn’t too worried about that. well, the protector drops, and it turns out the owner of the artifact is now the asmodian faction, as in the npcs not the players.
damn, after all that work too
i wish i hadn’t sold my bow for bike money, it would have helped a lot (bow range > tiger shot). elyos or balaur need to go cap that artifact so i can try again.
I gave it a shot. Not a bad game. It’s no WoW killer like some people said it was gonna be but not a bad game in my opinion.

they will drop off once they start having to grind levels. We only got them in wow because it’s ez mode mmo so you get the retards and pre-teens.

its like the level designer got lazy and was like FUCK it ill just create a bunch of tightly packed rooms and put a shitload of monsters in each one. they’ll all look the same too so its extra boring and mind numbing.
running that shit with ufgt was kinda funny
yeah a lot of 30-40 content isnt very well thought out. wait till you get to fire temple (after 3 keys); everything there minus the end boss and ‘brotan’ is either a fire monster, a rock monster, or a rock monster on fire. it’s not really a temple even, its a cave with rock and fire as far as the eye can see. great fun!
mist mane village is another offender. it looks exactly like black claw (like a dull mass of brown yellow and green everywhere) except more densely packed with more mob abilities to waste your time.
i finally broke down and got the level 40 abyss shoulders. theyre pretty fuckin cool, in idle mode they look like your standard plate shoulders, but glowy spikes pop out when you go into battle mode. id look like a gundam if i didnt need to wear a swimsuit for chest + leg armor to get those manstone slots.
we need to get some group grinding going. im 75% to 41 and all but 3 bars of that have been DAS GRIND :(((( most of my groups lately have also sucked because of either shady tanks (“hey guys lets do this to make oath farming go faster. i’ll be the master looter and then distribute it evenly after the run k? what could possibly be wrong with that, dont you trust me? y’all are bitches leave”) or pussy clerics (“what, no templar? nevermind the fact that none of the ones online want to go, and gladiators are good enough for single pulls anyways, id rather go back to fighting xiaobao, ningning, and sdfjll over that one mob spawn for that quest that will give me 1/20th of a bar instead of getting better exp and farming an item that will be very useful no matter what”).
fuck traditional groups, i hope the best grinding comp turns out to be something dumb like 6 SM or 4 glad 2 chanter (like ffxi at one point), so those prima donna ‘tanks’ and ‘healers’ are left sitting around eating dicks.

well templars should be able to get a spot in all plate groups, if that turns out to be awesome. just for the pull skill.
im not sure if 6SM would actually work, probably a mix of SM and sorc would be better.
i just hate close-minded people who see groups as templar, cleric, sorc + 3 scrubs.
