At best food items provide like +12 physical attack.
50 Crit from food is str8 ballin.
I looked through the entire 400+ cooking.
There is no reason to get 400+ cooking except for DP Jellies.
BAD PROFESSION.
The soft cap for crit is 400 anyways (according to most templars).
So many just get 350 crit, pop crit food, and stack the rest with +atk.
Based on some of the gear set ups I see of higher level assassins, I would suspect that the Crit limit is indeed 400.
But then again i see stuff like this:

If those numbers are legit, than 440 would probably be the NEW softcap, although I think you go for 390 and get 50 crit food anyways. I guess the issue becomes how much oppurtunity cost you’re giving up by getting that extra 40 or 50 crit when you could up your attack instead.
Whatever the case is, criting on every second hit is bananas.
eh, I always believed it was 440…
the soft cap is 440. i have 430 right now (with dw), and its not really critting on every second hit. it crits “enough” i suppose, although you get a lot of streaks of crits and streaks of non crit.
