will they ever make far standing MK special cancel-able? what would be so OP about it? And can somebody explain why we can’t have standing light punch be +7 on hit so we can link stronger normals on hit? finally is close MP forcing stand on hit vs crouch really that irrelevant or OP, why?
far st. mk could potentially be more of a weakness, it most likely not be a true blockstring anyway. The damage would be too good for a 2f link unless the second hit scaled. wouldn’t get much use theoretically unless you missed the cancel on the first hit.

cl. mp force standing doesn’t seem useful without an overhead or a normal that can link off of it
doesn’t stop ryu from doing max range cr.MK xx haduken and DJ needs damage. I just think that he needs to get something out of that kick if he uses it in footsies correctly, atm you get a focus break into nothing…
I guess for someone with a vortex, damage shouldn’t be the best, but look at akuma, the better deejay…
you’re right, I just want something that I could use to turn hits vs crouchers into an upkicks corner walk combo… Also I didn’t know it was only positive 2, I use it as a meaty on wake up sometimes, so I usually combo off it when I hit…
If the Ryu knows the matchup well he wont cancel cr mk into hadoken all the time, thats begging for an ex sobat/super/u1 since its not a blockstring.
2nd hit mk cancel-able might be useful for some extra damage, but its not much to write home about because it doesnt solve any of the problems Deejay is currently having. What might be useful is shifting the lower hurtbox back a bit so we can use it as a counter poke against cr mk, this is the footsie edge we need.
Forcing stand for Deejay at the moment is not useful since he doesnt have an overhead and all his normal combo-enders hit crouchers anyway. Do away with the force stand shit and make certain upkicks hit crouchers = problem solved Capcom!
Cl St lp is good as it is, +2 on block, any more and you can start to dance rings around some characters.
he would need force stand and an overhead or force stand that leaves him advantage to combo so they would have to worry about the combo or uncombo into throw.
other than that force stands for this character are useless as far as i’ve seen
