Unfortunately Mikes lives in the home of the uppercut (Melbourne) so after DP FADC there is an 80% chance of them uppercutting again or a 20% chance of throwing. To me the FADC system seems like it was designed primarily for motion characters and the rest where an afterthought, ah no point in crying over it now.
From a balance perspective it makes sense that they’re wasting meter to make moves safe. When Vanilla came out that was one of the things that was highly touted as far as the new game mechanics: FADC to make moves safe or to continue a combo. I agree with Freej4y, you can’t just take that away from everyone in the cast cuz it’s changing EVERYONE’S game plan.
DP FADC is straight bullshit.

I’m perfectly fine with changing cr HK buff from less start up to more travel range. If other dee jays are also ok, I make the change.
Regarding dp fadc, I agree with Revive. It’s too late in the game to make such a big change. Plus, I honestly like it, and I think is fair to trade half of your Super in order to make a move safe.
i agree, but its one of those things that can’t change. also mp dp should get less invincibility since you can FADC it and HP DP’s should not be FADC’able

It looks good for a start. I’m pretty sure there’s going to be more for Dee Jay down the track as well, it just so happens that his biggest weakness is the hardest to balance around at the moment.
Edit: Incidentally, re-theming parts of Dee Jay’s game around cool juggles might add some interesting flavor.
