They stated in the EVO panel that is the easy thing to do but thats not there plan. They will Buff the rest of the cast. Thats why these wish lists even exist.

maybe give Guys ex run overhead some kind of special ability?. that will complete his usefulness of his ex run ability.
liiiiike…? i dont know what else they could do since it’s already (supposedly) an armor breaker overhead that goes through fireballs
just fix the hitbox on certain focus attacks for run overhead… too many characters FA because its safe on a two hit move. that’s the problem with it… as far as ex… idk buff the dmg ? not much you can do to make a move like that to make it better besides a slight dmg buff like slide.

Screen freeze and a series of random directional arrows appear on screen, opponent has 1 second to input the series correctly.
If he/she fails Guy wins every remaining round.
But seriously I think ex run overhead should be 3 hits, and +4 on hit. So it could be used like Fei Longs ex/hk chicken wing. (it would be very very similar, just longer startup)
Would open up a new attack option, ex run, ex overhead, c.lk into whatever…
guess the three hits would end up scaling big combos fairly hard.

Bushinchain not to count as a juggle number (if that makes sense o_O Im not sure what term Im supposed to use).
Imnot sure but either the Bushinchain or ex hozanto add/change the juggle state of the opponent so you cannot follow with another move. Im guessing BC adds a +1 or something then exHoz adds +1 so your at +2 and guy has nothing that can start at +2 juggle. Or something silly like that.

I’d like if I could bushin chain, ex Hozanto FADC, anything really. I’ve learned (very quickly) to never fadc the exHoz after the bushinchain, but I dont see why we cant have a longer combo thats suffering from damage scaling for 2 bars? if only to style on people?
not exactly a consistent armor breaker unless done close enough for 2 hits.ex run slide is truly the one that goes through all projectiles.I dont know what it should be really.Maybe make it another armor breaker on hit or have it at an advantage on block?
Okay after seeing the amount of things capcom is doing to characters after reading the the changes in “Apology Edition” I’m on the wish and hope boat now.
Walkspeed definitely comes to mind and so does making Guy’s ex tatsu a better reversal.
ok juggle states are confusing as *%£^ but im getting there, I hope I know what im talking about now otherwise I’ve got this all backwards.
Long story short:
after a bushinchain into ex Hozanto I’d like to be able to FADC into something. At the moment the juggle numbers get too high for Guy to land anything other than super (impossible due to using 3 bars) or the 2nd hit of his HK/EX tatsu as far as I know (also impossible as they spin too slow). Im pretty sure that means BushinChain adds to the juggle count, which I would like removed leading to stuff like:
Bushinchain, ex Hoz FADC Ultra 1.
Bushinchain, ex Hoz FADC HK/EX bsk
Bushinchain, ex Hoz FADC ex Hoz
Bushinchain, ex Hoz, HK/EX Bsk (incorner)
Bushinchain, ex Hoz, ex Hoz (in corner)
These would be scaled to hell anyway so dont see why they cant happen.
Danonino I have to agree with that list. Also on that note, Guy should be able to do Bushin Chain, FADC into Ultra 1 mid-screen to get more damage. It works as it is but Guy is only able to connect the first two hits, when he should be able to connect ALL 4-Hits at the start of his combo for more damage (maybe up to 400 damage for the max combo mid-screen). The cut scene won’t connect just the first 4 hits of the combo. The first part of the combo pushes the opponent to far back, to fast. Fei Long has some thing simular, where he can connect chicken wing into his Ultra 1, but Guys should do more damage. Also Guy’s Ultra 1 should do more Chip Damage on Block as well (at least 60).
Guy is cool Guy has good punish options but Guy is slow and he is the most punishable character of the cast IMO.
that shit is starting to make me sick when i see Vipers doing burning kicks thunder knuckles all day on block without being punishable.
same goes for Fei rekkas and chicken wing.
Twins dive kicks,palm and slashes.
Why Guy has to be punishable like that.
Why Guy has no Fadc?
Why Guy is slow?
Why Guy has no throw range?
etc…etc…
I keep asking those questions to myself when i think about top character in SF4.
U2 being either two motions would cause a big change in that, sure its easier to perform but at what cost would it come to damage and all that in between, also that move has never been outside of HCBx2. if they changed that people would want easier things for all the grapplers… Idk about you… but I don’t want Zangief to have an Easier Ultra… >.>. Just learn to make sure you hit forward on both HCB… it shouldn’t take long to practice and iron out. Otherwise just use U1 for what it is.

I hope they will do it for elbow drop as well. I often miss it and do jump MP in the heat of the battle… It’s usually cost me a lot of life^^

I’ve only just started to get used to the proper U2 motion now. Funny thing is we wouldnt have a problem at all if U2 had the proper motion without the shortcuts from the start, we all learned a lazy input and it stuck
The Dev logs look interesting, and they are changing everything from hurtboxes to damage and stun… I hate to admit it but Im like a kid at christmas waiting for the guy changes o_O
Just try not to keep your hopes up. Even though they are fixing some of the technical problems with other characters, doesnt mean they’ll treat guy right. I would also love if U2 was the same as ssf4. I could do that with a pad no probs, now its too tight for me. A better walk soeed would also help.
