Most knockdowns on sagat are slides on tigershots. He’s hard to knock down.
It’s not an unblockable, but Sagat can’t uppercut out of backthrow setups using j.hp/hk.
so if he tries to uppercut it gets beat by jHP/HK or does he just fly away and blanka can grab him when he lands?

Tips on playing against a top skill Sagat? Karas everything, all the specials if ness. Knees, dps, all. Option selected, with godlike reactions. I felt useless, gimmicks not working at all. He was combo xx angry scarring off most hit confirms. ‘safeball’ ex hori bait to u2 ground sucks btw.
Be patient, the Sagat match-up is not easy, i feel it’s the more hardest shoto to fight with Ken now… don’t play gimmick, play footsies and stay really patient, wait the good opportunity to get a knockdown, you have a lot of options against his fireball game but be careful, avoid the corner and stay smart.
Don’t jump or if you have good opportunity to jump (TS badly spaced), just walk forward, poke him, no random slide, just slide on reaction, you will not score a lot of slide against a good sagat.
If you have a kd, safe jump him but i know he wake up with one more frame, but what’s the difference if you safe jump him with a 4/5f setups? You have one more frame to success your safe jump so it can be used on him, right ?
Oh and i’m not sure, but EX TS can be safeballed? If he has U2 on stock no more ball to chip.
EX TS can be safeballed, but I think only if sagat blocks crouching. I forget, I don’t fight that character enough.
I tested on training, EX TS can be safeballed crouching and standing and Kara TU too, good to know.
Man I lost a tournament the other night to a Sagat player who knew the Blanka matchup really well. I feel like I don’t have the patience to deal with that match…I know I need to develop that, and slowly I’ll work on that but for now I think I’m just gonna go Gouken vs Sagat lol I am a scumbag 
I’m giving up on the Seth matchup. Played a long set vs. Seth tonight and I lost something like 4-20, then we discussed matchup knowledge and I gave him options he didn’t know he had.
So matchup tip for Seth: Don’t use Blanka kids.

Seth is just a whole 50/50 mixup! Once the seth player is in your head, you are dead…see poongko vs daigo! Loosing 20 matches against him and being frustated while playing is a good sign that he was mind-fuckin you the whole time…
You should have just stop playing after a bunch of losses and look at the replays…i’m sure you’ll find some terrible mistakes you made…

Was playing offline. Honestly I didn’t make that many mistakes other than not punishing with ultra and dropped combos. Seth just makes Blanka play stupid in neutral and there is not a way to play in neutral that in any way favors blanka.
Wow same for me for Cammy/Fei/Bison (less hard for Bison but still crap).
I think Cammy is pretty similar. Vs. Fei in neutral you have some options(nj. st.strong safeball), and vs. bison he can’t really do mixups to you and if you get a knockdown you can get stuff going even if you lose in neutral. Seth just beats you up at every stage and he makes you use meter so you can’t ever land big combos on him unless you’re already winning comfortably.
You also can’t really lame seth out at all. which makes it worse. against say sagat or honda which are also bad matchups you can get a lifelead then just db. Seth is going to force you to play his game again.
Wow i watched Seth’s frame data and his Tanden is +19 on block and +23 on hit, damn crazy move, i hate it.
I like playing Seth… it gives me time to go for a smoke at least once per round.
