But all this buffs don’t do anything against current Yun. Well, waiting for Yun changes. Did you see Fei Long changes. It is painfull lol, I guess Yun will also suffer

Akuma is still gonna be a problem for Chun, imo. The nerfs helps, but he is still Akuma.
Akuma is still going to be able to option select Demon Flip palm / sweep on your wakeup all day. The only difference is that now down-back is a slightly better option because now the only thing it doesn’t beat is Demon Flip throw.
And what’s with all the complaining about the Chun changes? They wrecked some other characters (Fei Long went from being top tier in AE back to probably mid in 2012), and it’s not like they made anything about Chun worse. They fixed her biggest problem, which was characters being able to fall out of her Ultra 1 juggle and being able to punish.
Feilong is still going to be high tier, sure he got dmg nerfs and his 2nd rekka was nerfed.
However, they didn’t change what is used most of all with him, which is doing a single rekka and confirming it into damage.
Rekka will always be strong in a footsie-based game like this.
No one should be crying about her changes. Embrace it and break out that new tech!
I think most ppl are just dissappointed and see the changes as nothing big. I personally myself would have just like to see df+short kick back to super and some better startup invincibilty on ex SBK as its her only viable wakeup option and it requires meter on top of that…just needs to b better so it doesnt get stuffed so easily. U1 fix is probably the best of the changes and the hit stun on cr.roundhouse. Hopefully they wil continue to balance this game until release and we can get better balance for all characters not just Chun li.
Maybe, but I think Fei loses a lot by not being able to link his Sweep off jabs anymore, as well as making his chicken wing harder to cross up and taking out the loop. Also being at -1f after FADCing Flame Kick is rough for him. He’s still a solid character but I don’t think he’s on top anymore honestly.
Make her cr.hk not an anti-air. Hope this manages to get in somehow before AE2012 release.
It’s still gonna be an uphill battle if 1 Rekka combo drags you from midscreen to the fucking corner.
Personally, I don’t mind too much about the changes, they’re alright. Not what I would of hoped for, but alright.

Changes listed so far are not nearly enough. Look the BP points in AE for Chun…~50K for the highest chun player. Chun was not a contender in any of the major tournaments for AE. U could say all the characters with less than 60-70K BP in AE need some major buffs.
I’d like to see:
SBK off a wall jump (just for fun)
2-3 frames of invulnerability for the normal SBK or way faster start up time.
Faster focus.
easier leg loop (or some decent bnb combo following a FA).
Armour breaking Hazanshu.
I’m not complaining at all about Chun’s changes. I’m going back to her, in fact, after what they just did to Yang.
And I think Chun got a nice indirect buff by the nerfs to a lot of her problematic matchups. (Granted, Akuma’s and Yang’s were pretty overboard. Yun’s nerfs will help, and those were more fair. Even Viper might be a little easier to deal with now.) She’ll also beat Fei clean again, by the looks of things.
Personally I would have like something new to play with, you know, just to get hype about the new edition…instead for the second time we get nothing new. Well, at least this time it’s not all nerfs.
Also: I don’t understand why they are still not fixing her EX legs. They probably think it’s fine like this, doing 3 hits instead of 4 on half the cast for no reason :\
Lol this topic reminds me of some really eager OP in the blanka forums asking for blanka users to rise up and ask for some changes to their char which give him a more interesting style of play.
Two members from the first couple of posts in seriously agreed that blanka should get a fireball.

really after checking out some of the other casts changes and correct me if I’m wrong but Chun seems like she’ll be just fine. I’m sure I’ll still get DP mashed out of block strings and missed executed combos though.
