Hmm, Adon seems to recover very fast on trade rj. Super would probably juggle too, awesome.
He’s doing a tk jk (obviously lk) and it has to be on crouching. I’ve hit it on akuma, but could not get it to connect on ryu. Haven’t really looked into this, but it could be useful.
i got it to combo on crouching ryu but as a counter hit tk jaguar kick.

Instant EX JK to Ultra 2. First juggleable hit catches the opponent’s jump very reliably. It’s a lot easier to land than grounded EX JK to ultra, in my opinion.

Hm, I’ll have to test that out, perhaps it’s good for midscreen? Usually when I have someone in the corner I’ll use a grounded EX JK to catch a jump.
Yeah, I certainly think grounded EX JK’s will still have their place. Instant EX JK has almost the range of a grounded HK JK (but less vertical hitbox) so it seems to be much better suited for when you’re in someone’s face applying pressure but not so much punishing fireballs.
Also, you can have similar results with actually jumping and doing an EX JK without the instant shortcut… but with this method, if you happen to misjudge and they don’t jump, they’re still going to have to block the EX JK rather than you flying over them and losing your momentum.
I don’t have online so I can’t test this out in some matches…
Hopefully you guys can come up with some good uses for it.
So I played a shitload of Adon today, and his EX JK juggle is fucking awesome, Instant air or not. It definitely reminds me of Bison’s EX Head Stomp since it stifles jump attempts - except with Adon you can expect much more damage.
Also, the IA JK -> U2 as shown in Alioune’s video seems to be character specific. I tested it out with a few characters, and it looks like it will only work on characters with small hitboxes. From my experiences, it works on Guy and Sakura, but not Rose or Gen.

I tested it out against a Ryu doing jump-in RH and Super juggles off trades, no need to dash forward either. If you don’t have Super though you have to dash forward in order to do RJ again. I haven’t been able to get Ultra 2 to work though.
Yes. Adon gets up seven frames faster than most of the cast from an untechable knockdown.

Okay, so I got a ft5 with ninjacw (One of the better mak playes) and had some really close matches that I’m going to post up. They are seriously like a week old, but since he was on the stream and has so much hype around him right now, I guess I’ll post them up anyway. Really close set that ended with me winning 10 and him 9. I also have some old ranked that I probably won’t be putting up. Hopefully get some more matches tonight before I start to record.
I’ve been messing around with my old mains gen, viper and vega so that’s what’s been with the lack of adon. I’ve had him in the lab for about a week and feel he’s a lot stronger, so very happy with this. Anyway, expect vids by monday night!
