Yo Eddosan! I can’t believe I missed your Adon at the tourney last weekend! In that 2nd vid, that other commentator mentions ‘another Adon player’ I was that guy lol, I faced Louis first round with Adon both matches (2nd match it was a mistake, I wanted to use Rose, choose rematch by mistake, but he would have beat me anyway).
Props to you man, you’ve got a really good Adon!
LOL at that salty bad loser Bronx in the second video. “No one knows the match up” if you’re going to go to a tourney and everyone is available to pick, then that is not an excuse for losing. Just man up, admit defeat and come back the next time.

One thing, you shouldn’t burn EX RJ to escape so much. Adon’s dash is so fast, I dash under people trying to cross me up and its works wonders.

You’re right, I was doing it a little too often. I think I was just terrified at the vortex or something. Either way, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. (pretty sure people will break it soon though)

Yea, I randomly saw Alex Valle’s videos of Adon taking on some good players I was inspired by him lol, btw don’t mind Bronx he gets REEEEEEEEALLLLY salty when he looses. I’m surprised he didn’t want to money match you afterwards.
Very nice defense and c. strong jk pressure in the corner. Also that double forward dash under the kunais was epic. It’s funny that people were talking about how revlover is safe on block and adon doesn’t have combos lol People on the east coast really don’t know the match up? It’s funny because in your match ups you just played solid then when you got a knock down destroyed the ibuki with rh jk on wake up. The answer, block, but obviously people will try something on wake up lol I hate when people try to take wins away from you by making excuses. Oh well though. Impressive matches. Just remember that rj is 4 frames so you can punish alot of stuff with it by simply mashing it out. It sounds gross but every good player will mash out upper cut fadc ultra as a punish to make sure they get the upper cut. Just think rj instead of throw punish if you have 2 bars and an ultra and are not sure where the punish window will be open.

Eddosan after actually sitting here and watching those matches from CEO I have to give it to you man, you have a solid/defensive play style that I like. You just have to remember to punish as hard as you can every… single… time… But yo good shit. When’s the next O-town tournament so I can come up and get that mirror going? :tup: We never actually played against each other and have never played the adon matchup. Good shit on getting top 8
You guys are totally right about punishment. I thought about it recently, and I realized punishing with RJ fadc U2 is vital to Adon’s game. I guess coming from a strong Chun-Li only background makes me punish with grab a lot. Will probably have to pick up Ryu or Cammy in SF4 PC to practice that, when I’m not at my friend’s house at least.
I know exactly how you feel when not capitalize on punishing. I’m coming from maining vega. Not very combo heavy and hard links. Always throwing opponents, it gets annoying. I need to learn to utilize a big punishment.
