Wish I could play like that. Though I have to ask why you didn’t go for a chip kill. In your position I would have just spammed Jaguar, but maybe that’s because I don’t know how punishable they are.
Real talk Good sht, really like that adon play against J. I know the fact that J doesn’t know the match-up etc and will learn it somewhere down the line is besides the fact that you did a really f**ing good job. I just wanted 2 ask what did you do against the dive kick pressure/ grab mix-up cuz that is the only problem i have wit rufus so far. Wow, can’t believe I haven’t responded to these yet. I really appreciate the responses, guys. Not that my expectations were low, but I didn’t expect the feedback to be so positive and helpful, I’ll definitely post another video once I think I’ve improved a bit to see how I’m coming along

I definitely need to start using IAJK. I hardly used air jks at all at that point, I’ve only recently started incorporating them into my game. Definitely gotta practice that.
I should have been more clear about chun’s c.HK, I was wondering if I could punish it on reaction if it whiffs. I doubt any decent chun would throw c.HK on wakeup though, so it was sort of a dumb question to begin with. You’re definitely right about the JK spam, I have trouble with characters with a decent DP who are more patient than me (I rarely play as slowly as I did in that video 
still working on it because the patience really helps). I’ve been thrownig HK JKs outside of dp range and trying to bait it out, but do you have any other suggestions? Those b&bs are very helpful, already been using them (particularly j.mk or nj.hk > HP). Thanks!
Weirdly, I actually love neutral jump HK and I’m surprised I only use it once in that vid. It depends on the character, though, because I’ve eaten a lot of DPs with it as well. There’s a ton of advice here that’s been very useful over the past week (particularly the whiffed JKs, I wasn’t even thinking about that). The Chun in this video isn’t too great, but I’ve played some better ones since then and it’s been pretty intense.
I really love EX JK, but it’s been frustrating me lately because I keep spacing it wrong and going over opponents and getting punished. That’s my fault, though. Mixing up the LK teeth has been pretty fun so far, especially if you get a character who sits across the screen waiting for you to make a move.

Wong was probably waiting for him to throw out a JK or JT to catch with U2. I doubt he would have been able to react to an IA EX JK, but who knows.

Sighrax n I play a fairly often. I’ve notice in this matchup you have to play it safe, be solid and bait the shit out of the brit cause his damage output is pretty good.

I think it’s this one where I get punished by U2 off a regular JT which I should have known.

This one you can see you can punish pretty much all stomps on block and devil reverses with RJ which is sweet. I think that if you JT and try to backdash they can punish with scissors.
Also, you can U2 Bison at the peak of his reverse, as he is flipping. Hopefully www.option-select.com will post the 3rd Adon vs Bison match of mine so I can post it as well.

EDIT: Chaos, You can’t punish Rufus U2 with like an almost 100% vertical EX AJK??? Cause the only part of his body that doesnt have a hit box is his head, as Viper can hit her U2 at a certain like 45 degree angle-ish.
:sad: heart breaking. Your spacing was near perfect, just a couple missed punishes and situations where you didn’t punish with combos as damaging as you ideally should have. I hate when people say “I should have won that”, but in your case, you really had that in the bag. I think the main thing you should take from that match is that you should play alittle more defense when you have the lead. Just down back, wait for AA, and poke when the spacing permits. You really should get a revenge match eventually.

This may have been discussed elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed you can easily juggle a RJ with another RJ if the first one traded? I’ve had this happen a couple of times in the past few days, so I thought I’d upload video

Has anyone else been running into this in matches? Is there anything that would be better for juggling?
Something else I’ve been finding very useful is following an anti-air JK with s.HK. You can see I do it in these matches, but you can catch a lot of folks off guard if you’re in range.

i’ve gotten uc2 to juggle off a trade rising jaguar. could have been a specific character, specific jump in, specific spacing. not sure.
