Does anybody use Adon’s Taunt #9 in matches? It’s the one where he hops off the ground and then lands and says “You’re through!” But it’s invulnerable to low hits for the whole hop, and you can cancel out of it (into anything) before he gets a low hurtbox again. I was just playing around in training mode and realized that it’s immune to throws while he’s in the hop, and it goes over every fireball I’ve tested so far (except high tiger shot). I’m sure this is probably known, but is it actually useful? It seems kind of like a ghetto yoga tower.
tbh I have used it quite well in the past. Dont know if its coincidence that the headbutt stopped but I managed to taunt over what looked like Honda’s head and then throw him on his recovery
Its actually quite handy but the timing can be iffy! I prefer to just neutral jump
oh my favourite thing about it is you can cancel the recovery early I believe?
edit: I use taunt 3 as its him laughing great for pissing people off!

I’ve scooped a few japanese boards, but I can’t seem to find it. And I’m under the slight impression that not even the japanese understand whatever the hell he’s shouting. It sounds like engrish at first, but then it’s gibberish.

In AE 2012, I started playing adon, and I can not fluently perform a jaguar kick standing on the right side of screen, the inputs are correct, f,df,d,df,f kick, is this just me or the system? :S
try being faster, i always was too slow for it to execute correct ;D
The inputs are B, D, DB + K…not sure if that’s a typo in your post. Try using the input leniency and use DB, D, DB + K until you get the hang of it.
oh right yeah it was a typo, I think its the speed of inputting it, i started applying the inputs faster and it comes out:)

usualy it wont matter how long the srk is. its invinc frames will allow even 5f srks to be mashed through.

So has anyone experimented with the jaguar kick hitbox change? do you get hit out of it more often?
I really don’t notice the difference, maybe because I’m not predictable with them and don’t get punished that often.
I really feel the difference, now the jaguar kick is beaten by almost everything but like before you still can whiff punish normal moves spammer.
To me iajk is his main tool, anyway if the player knows the match-up you almost don’t use random jaguar kick.
