There is a list by myself, if there is a mistake tell me, I don’t try like a fuzzy guard but just if it connect after a neutral jump mk because the timing is too tight to do a fuzzy guard, I just don’t have the patience.
With air jaguar lk works against : Sagat, Dudley, Vega, Juri (why her ?), Gief and Hakan.
With air jaguar kick ex (two hits) : Cody, Dee-Jay, Rufus, Abel, Seth, Adon, Viper, Bison, Guy, Guile, Balrog.
With air jaguar kick ex (one hit) works same as lk ajk but combo with crouch jab is a better idea : Gen and Fuerte.
It’s strange when I try it doesn’t work against Hawk, I am almost certain I saw this in a video.
Does anyone know why sometimes my opponent remains standing in fuzzy guard allowing me to combo and sometimes they crouch as they get hit by the mk and the AJK is blocked?
My timing must be off I guess.
Most people think dudley sucks, at least adon is viable.
While adon has many tools against fireballs you won’t necessarly have advantageous matchups. You beat ryu, ken is more tricky and akuma is definitely not in adon’s favor, not because of fireballs but that stand HK which you can’t duck and just dominates in footsies.
Guile requires iAJK, which takes some work to learn. Sagat I think is even unless you have mad reflexes. You’ll totally anihillate gouken though but who cares.
why not stick with a charge character? or do they all suck at getting around fireballs? I only play Bison as a charge character and seem to have little issues with fireballs as him, but I am not all that great with him.
Also I find that too TVG, no idea what causes the different animations.
I’ve decided to stick with Dudley.
Adon’s Damage is comparable to Vega’s.
I think Dudley’s lack of… far normals but a strong close up game compliments Vega better than Adon, outside of FADC DP/50-50 cross up/tickgrab pressure.
I will miss Adon’s jab links.
somewhat at least, it kind of screwed with my Vega c.LP c.LP timing.
Check your aggression when your opponent has Ultra stocked. Adon is all about rushing a person down and staying on them, but he has poor health and it sucks to lose to someone that is nearly a corpse due to beating the crap out of them.
Use ambiguous LK or MK, into throws, RJ, and neutral jumps if people are on the defensive. I get tons of first round perfects, or just take a single hit, using just that mix up. Partly due to lag and crap players, but that is the way of it when playing online.
I find that that simple mix up will turn many calm methodical players into angry SRK mashers, punish with cl.Hp x HK.RJ if you have the time, use LK or LP to start if not.
HK.Jk is great for smacking people out of poorly thought out SRKs.
It’s simple and scrubby but many people will fall for the mid screen LK.Jt, punish accordingly.
Practice IAJK until you want to kick your TV, it really adds to his pressure game, and getting in on fireballers.
Ah yeah, ive learned most of that stuff off the bat, but i find the lack of a good anti-air annoying. Im always losing with RJ so i just end up using st.MK for an anti-air.
His health is really not that much of a problem for me as i am a Rose player =P
that would be interesting to know. my frame data is dodgy at best haha. I dont know how to find this out myself sorry.
If someone knows though id be interested

[]Because cr.LP, cr.LP, cr.MP is Link combos, so sometimes you might whiff the cr.MP and they get to block. JK makes it relatively safe.
[]Sometimes BnB leaves you too far, or RJ will whiff on crouching characters. So you go into JK to keep up the pressure.
[/LIST]
Yeah, know the character/matchup. If you know the RJ will wiff on certain crouching characters don’t use it unless your in range.
For example you’ll miss a crouching Ryu because of their hurtbox or whatever its called but the same distance you will hit a crouching Juri, Balrog, Zangief, etc.
This will come with experience, or you can go to training mode and test every character heh.
Is f.mp good for anything? I feel like anytime I throw it out I’m just begging for someone to beat me with a jab. I’m trying to pick up Adon at the moment (tried Makoto but she wasn’t my cup of tea, lifelong Ken player trying to go straight and get my kids back) and right now I’m just trying to learn all his buttons. This one perplexes me to no end. Is it basically just an “oops, wasn’t paying attention” button, or is there some way to use this thing that I’m not seeing? I can’t recall ever seeing it in Adon match videos.
I sometimes use it as a long range meaty on their wake up… if that makes sense?
I usually try and train them into thinking ill go for a meaty sweep. Though this is usually online and im sure someone could react easier offline
