I am not sure if there is an existing thread to ask this so I’ll just post it here. Mods, if this is a waste of space please close or delete this thread.

I was just curious if anyone has actually collected all of the achievements or trophies? It seems to me that the some of the achievements are just never going to be possible for me but I was just wondering if anyone was able to grab every tile and icon and perform every single hard combo and beat all the hard time and survival trials?

The online stuff happens eventually but some of the personal stuff is out of my realm.

I’ve become tired of online ranked and Champ mode now and have finally gone back to do all the achievements too. The hard trials can be tough but I get some here and there and will eventually get this. The time trials and survival can be done easy mode (gief lariat spam) if you just want to get them.

i have them all, and i suck at the game (win % around 35%) so if i can do it, so can you. here’s some tips to help you:

spam gief’s lariat for all the time trials and the survival modes.

for the combos… practice, practice, practice. complete the motion of the combos even if you mess up just to get your hands used to it. break it down into parts and then try to combine the parts.

if you have a joystick, you can try using turbo for the strict links or better yet, learn plinking (look at the stickies).

i had to change button configs for fuerte’s infinite loop - guess this can be done with any combo if it makes it easier for you.

learn shortcuts like dp (guile has one for super > ultra too, but can’t recall it offhand), or buffering a super move while you’re doing your normal move (this helped for fuerte’s challenge).

you don’t have to follow the EXACT combo listed there. i had to add hits to get sakura’s hard trial 2 to connect. another instance is in rose’s hard trials, i think you could connect with a lvl 2 focus instead of canceling it like the directions say.

I can only do Chun and Gen’s hard combos, screw Fei Long! I never thought of spamming lariats for all of the trials so I’ll give that a shot. But there a lots of tiles and titles that I have NO IDEA how to achieve.

Is there is a list somewhere stating the requirements to collect all of the tiles or icons?

PS: I have both version of the game, there is no way I am going for all of the trophies again if I ever get all of the achievements. Just saying.

i just dont care enuf to even attempt all that stuff…i did all the hard trials for my mains and like 2 or 3 other characters…i would do the lariet thing in the survival mode but i reely dont give a shit about alt colors, icon, taunts ect…but thats just me

i fugured there was not much point trying to get the rest since i would never finish the hard combo trials.

some of the combos are more difficult on a stick.

eg

feilong

one of them you need to :d::mp::df::r::d::mp::df::r:and button for the super

but on a d-pad you can do the super normal like after the punches ordinary button presses.

others are easier with a stick.

for the hard trials I just need to finish the last of El Fuerte and 3, 4 and 5 of Viper… I just don’t get it how to perform her “super jump” to ultra :xeye:
and for the hard survival and time trials I just don’t feel in the mood for getting the gold medals :yawn:

Crap I forgot about all of the gold medals too. That means I have to go back and do a few annoying ones again. Awesome.

Personally I thought the achievements were a bit annoying and redundant. I liked HDR’s achievements but that’s just me.

After I’ve had close to 2,000 online matches I felt it was time to focus in on Time & Survival challenges a few weeks ago. They were tough for me but I beat them and now I’m working on wrapping up all the Normal Trials. It’s really satisfying to know I’ve passed some I initially thought were impossible for me. I’ve cleared a majority of the Normal Trials but I’m sure the Hard Trials will be a little more elusive. I’d love to get past all of Blanka’s trials to get the Blanka cube.

I finished all normal and hard trials. Still gotta finish the Time attack & survival modes, though

I’ve got 43 of 48 achievements.
I’m basically only missing hard trials for several characters and I would get them all, but I really didn’t feel like doing those.
The rest “all titles”, “all icons” etc then comes with it.

One of the stickies talks about it I believe, but I don’t care. A discussion just on achievements isn’t gonna kill anyone.

…and when lariat fails, CPU ALWAYS falls for knockdown, glove, SPD wake up, glove, SPD wake up, glove, SPD wake up…throw in glove, Ultra/Super wake up when shit gets boring or you need the extra time boost.

I understand what they were going for with all these trials and modes, but after completing a couple of the time/survival hurdles, the fun goes away and you realize how much this is play-time filler taken to the extreme. If they carry this stuff over to Dash, I hope they at least don’t hide the colors behind it. If we have to unlock colors, make it something that can be done in like…10 seconds. :crybaby:

I’ve been too lazy to unlock colors 9 and 10. If I could just do the trials that would unlock them fine but I have to go through the other crap just to get to unlocking stages. :lame:

Less tedious and redundant achievements would be nice. Make em specific real specific like defeat Gouken with an Ultra. Someone suggested a while ago “Beat Bison on a Tuesday.” I seriously :lol:'d

if i remember correctly gen had the hardest trials in the game, so you’ve got that done. honestly all of them are pretty easy if you are used to playing SF(i know you are). everything else in the game is just grinding. the only characters i can remember having trouble with was ken’s #5, blanka’s #5, vipers #4 and 5 and guile’s #5. everything else was easy.

The PS3 has this golden trophy in their games if you get all other trophies. Seems kinda pointless on XBL, but I guess they just wanted the same on all systems.

I need to finish Abel’s hard 5, Vipers hard 5, and Elfs hard 4-5.
IMO Vipers are the hardest but thats probably because my execution is ass.
Gens ended up with me just mashing like crazy and praying that i completed the gekiro kick
