how do you take off the sides of a te?
Remove the Bottom Panel by unscrewing.
Remove the Inner Layer by unscrewing.
There will be screws holding the TE Sides.
Remove those by unscrewing.

Few questions:
One I can’t seem to find anywhere that does Lami-label in the UK. Anyone had any luck?
Two: The Chun stick. I want to change the buttons, opened it up…the things feel GLUED in there, You can’t twist them or anything let alone push them out. Any ideas?
Guys I feel slight grinding while moving the joystick in up/down position. I don’t know why, right left seems smooth/normal but up/down gives me a feeling like it’s grinding something. The grinding totally goes away if I change the axis from up/down to up-right/down-left, left/right etc. It only happens when I take it from neutral to up or down. And even in the up/down axis, it doesn’t happen always, the stick starts off well when I start playing but after 2-3 seconds, the grinding comes up. The clicking sound is normal and same in all the 8 co-ordinates.
Has any one of you have ever heard of similar issue in Sanwa jlf? Though the stick works absolutely fine but it irritates me a lot while playing.
It’s not a TE, but Mayflash modded with Sanwa parts. Thanks!
I have a question regarding the PS3 Hori VLX.
So far I’ve been able to wire the buttons and the joystick to the MC Cthulhu. It’s connected to an RJ45 jack as well. The only buttons that don’t work are the select and home buttons (basically the control panel near the top part of the stick).
I’d like to be able to use them when I play on the PS3, but don’t know how to wire them to the MCC. It seems like it needs something. What can I do?

I have an original TE and I am really digging the plain black/color look demonstrated on the madcatz store, however I cannot stand when a stick surface feels like a lower quality than stock (plexi, lami-label…etc) Any ideas how they did this? or better solutions? Thanks.
Does anyone provide a service where I could mail them my TE Round2s, they dual mod them to work on both 360 and PS3 and then mail them back?
Or do I basically just need to find one someone else modded themself and buy it off of them?
You can always try and look through the Trading Forums here. You can either look through it and see if anyone is willing to dual-mod, or you can post up your own thread (only if you are eligible to do so) and see if anyone is interested.
You can also go through the Regional areas and see if anyone locally can help you dual-mod.
Hope this helps.

You can do either. You can check this post that is growing in length. Many take mail, but you might find somebody local. Or you can cruise trading outlet to find premodded, or modders willing.

whats the proper way to cut and drill plexi? i need the holes to fit happ comp buttons
1 1/8 inch Forstner drill bit for holes. Cutting requires a table saw and a high tooth per inch saw blade, small teeth spaced like a metal hacksaw.
15/16" Forstner for start/select holes, unless you want 30mm start buttons
You can buy saw blades made for cutting acrylic.
